Good day to my neighbors in the nearby Kepler system!
My name is Jeff Simpson, president of All Worlds Enterprises, a group of Freelancers fairly new to operating in the region.
I've had the opportunity to hear about your base and services from a variety of transportation sources bringing goods and materials to our Shikoku base and feel like its almost been too long to introduce ourselves and see how we can help each other out with mutually beneficial trade!
My sources tell me your base is a good size and requiring regular drops of cargo for its daily operations so you can focus on the matters most scientific and exploratory. That's perhaps where we could come in and help.
Our base rarely late in the building process discovered that Ames in Kepler is a source of Reinforced Alloy, a material that our base needs in abundance as we grow and develop. We had previously sourced it in New Tokyo, but this route is much more convenient! It appears that Ames also stocks a good supply of Oxygen and Water too, but no food rations of any kind! This to me would seem to be the item take would be a bit harder to get delivered given its a bit of a short trip to New Denver to grab some for your hungry crew, and frankly, out of the way of my own supplying transports.
My suggestion: Although a bit more pricey than your typical food rations, I would like to begin supplying Kyushu Rice from nearby Deshima in Shikoku for your ration needs. Unfortunately, I buy them there at just over 1000 credits /unit, so the price to supply to your base would need to at least cover this cost plus some small profit. As it stands there, we get our Reinforced Alloy right next to you with empty transports, whereas we could easily and regularly be dropping off this Kyushu Rice before grabbing our own base supply needs, and possibly first stocking your base with a few trips of the other nearby needs before heading back. You could even limit the amount of this more expensive supply if worried it would be a negative impact on your base.
If this arrangement seems suitable, we'd just need your base to have Kyushu Rice setup in your docking bay so it is accepted when transports arrive with it. And the rest is automatic!
Either way, expect more visits to your base by our own transports or affiliated contracted supply ships - base staff is very interested in obtaining the Scientific Data you supply to see how that research can help our own base develop to its full potential!

You guys must be that new construction I saw in Shikoku! Hello!
If you say you can keep up the supply of food for our crew members, makes my job easier! I get to spend more time running around Sirius making credits! I'll let our boss man know, expect a follow up message regarding this as some magic behind the scenes stuff needs to happen to accommodate your proposal.
As for our... what does Albert call it? Peta-something? Feel free to buy more of these Peta Research things. Don't really know what they are, but they're science-y.

Good day Mr. Baker,
Thank you for reviewing this proposal and bumping it up the chain of command for implementation. We look forward to having another mutually beneficial line of trade linked to our expanding group of Freelancers.
I will await further instruction from your base before making any attempts at delivery of this different food commodity.

Greetings, Mr. Simpson.
It seems Leon is unavailable for the moment. Your proposal does sound reasonable. On the way to Ames to deliver us food supplies, on the way back to restock your installation with expendable Reinforced Alloys. Under normal circumstances, I would agree in place of Leon. At this time, it is not ideal for us to switch food types to that from Planet Kyushu. Simply put, most of our scientific teams here operate under a strict diet. This is to help us work efficiently and get our research projects progressing at a quick and steady rate. Changing a large part of our diet will hinder this.
So I must inform you that your proposal, while it does benefit us both on a superficial level, will be declined. Now, I must return to my projects. Thank you.
