The developments surrounding the Delaware battlegroup and the Veracruz planet in the Vespucci system, with the recent news of the destruction of Fort Riley, have shaken things up: not only the lives of the Breton refugees, but also the civilians of Insurgency itself are under direct threat. In light of the circumstances, the acting command of the planetary defense of the planet Veracruz announced the beginning of mobilization.
The mobilization will represent the return to service of all those officers of the once-existing Hellfire Legion who were retired and at peace on the planet Veracruz. In addition, some of the civilian population capable of carrying weapons, whose mobilization does not affect Insurgency production capacity, will also fall under the aforementioned directive.
Mobilization does not affect:
Juvenile civilians of Planet Veracruz who are under 18 years of age and also to the Bretonian refugees.
Veracruz civilians with physical or mental disabilities and disabilities.
Women and old people.
It is worth noting that the third point is not binding in the case of the female sex: women have every right to defend their own homeland, and therefore military recruitment centers are open for the collection of volunteer applications. In turn, all Bretonian refugees who wish to remain on the planet and defend it must necessarily apply for citizenship in order to further obtain a permit to serve.
The entire civilian population, used as a military at the time of mobilization, will go through numerous trainings designed to prepare the inhabitants of the planet for the siege. It is possible that some of the formed units will join the ranks of the crews of the Marshall station and the Triton battlecruiser, orbiting the planet. Thus, the newly formed units will be able to serve as both boarding and defense teams. All the details are available on the Veracruz Department of Defense website.
Veracruz News Agency will keep the community of the native system up to date on events.
