With the ever-increasing unlawful presence in the Core Systems of the Empire, the Police has received funds to continue its endless battle against criminals. With it came the surge in prisoners, and thus an inevitable increase in monetary spending on transports and liners to ensure that the bandits are brought to justice.
The criminals did not take long to notice this, and with it prepared for their own ships to rescue their brethren. It remains to be seen how successful they will be in achieving their noble goal.
Dates:
18th April, 1900 UTC
Details:
The KPU Kitami will carry prisoners and other roleplay-focused materials from Planet Kyushu to Fuchu Prison.
During the convoy, unlawfuls may only attack the liner after all escorts are killed.
To promote activity in the lawful factions, escorts that successfully reach the destination alongside the liner will receive credit rewards among others.
NOTES
This reoccurring event is meant to spur activity in the region.
Event begins in 30 minutes. As the detail section mentions, the convoy will proceed parallel to the trade lanes, starting from Planet Kyushu to Planet Junyo. Once at Junyo, it will head directly to Fuchu Prison. Due to the large distances, the ship will move at cruise speed within New Tokyo and Shikoku (250k+ of cruising)
I encourage both sides to bring only snubs and GBs, however should the need arise, caps are most welcome to join both sides. Please do not shoot the liner until all lawfuls are killed/run/get abducted by Nomads.
Event Results
Despite multiple distress signals, only a token force was deployed as escorts of the KPU Kitami. In spite of the heroic actions to defend it, the liner was disabled and its crew taken prisoner, alongside all the materials and bandits it carried with it.
Future events will include a different liner to further display the loss of the Kitami; The two lawful escorts have received a bonus sum for participation, while the unlawful side has acquired the cargo on-board. Please leave any feedback you have either here or in PMs.
