To: Government of the Gallic Union
From: Deputy Premier Stanislaw Gajewski
Priority: HIGH
Dear, hopefully, friends from the Gallic Union,
Its been a while since our last contact and therefore I consider fair to contact you with a status renewal regarding our request to allow Coalition ship commence trading within the territories of your House by abiding the laws of Gallic Union and to cooperate with your forces against mutual enemies such as the Kingdom of Bretonia, Republic of Liberty, Empire of Kusari and other.
Our reputation of the so-called communists might scare you but I assure those blames are nothing but blatant lies. Our state is based on social-democratic values and undergoes a massive changes in it to become a better place to be, despite the harsh environment our ancestors decided to settle in the past. However, harsh or not, in forged our spirit and will.
You may desire make no deals and cooperation with us, but if you do - at least have honour and bravery to say it. Even as for bureaucrats, several months of discussion regarding such a simple request as ours, is too much. Hoping hearing from you soon.

Esteemed Deputy Premier Gajewski,
I am Antoinette Martin, Minister of Foreign Affairs to the Gallic Union.
While we no longer hold grudges over what happened in Sol all those centuries ago we do have to question feasibility of any arrangements with the Coalition, simply given the astro-geographical distance between us. The shortest route between our nations leads through both the territory of our common enemy: Kingdom of Bretonia, as well as through the newly infested by the Nomads, currently restricted for civilian traffic system of Brittany, better known in the Sirius at large by the name of Orkney. If you have an alternate route that evades those dangers, we'd be willing to consider negotiating a Trade Agreement.
As for the military cooperation, the Gallic Union is not interested in establishing such at this point in time, as we're mostly interested in securing our own borders at the time.

Minister Martin,
Holding a grudge for something that happened over a millennium ago is tantamount to continuing to follow an outdated ideology as the Coalition has done for centuries of our history. However, this was not just our problem - similar tendencies were everywhere there is a history of how society worked before the Exodus.
We have data on the route leading to your frontier system, Zurich. Our merchant ships can reach your borders undetected, but to get into Union territory we will have to use the gate at Picardy. Here we come to discuss a trade agreement, if you are willing to take risks for the riches of the deep Omegas that we can deliver to you directly.
We understand your desire to protect your borders and will not insist on military cooperation unless your interest changes from defence to pre-emptive strikes.

Esteemed Deputy Premier Gajewski,
I am happy to inform you that after some debate, the decision has been made to GRANT Coalition Commerce access into Gallia, provided the following conditions are met:
- Escorts up to and including gunboat class vessels are allowed.
- Usage of weapons is allowed exclusively in self-defense the moment you enter Zurich, and any incident where you're forced to use them needs to be reported to Gendarmerie.
- All Gallic laws are upheld within our space, especially those in regards to restricted stations/lanes, and restricted cargo/contraband.
- For any restricted cargo, you can request a permit for them separately here
Should you accept these terms, let us know so that we can inform our Gendarmerie and Navy to act accordingly.

Minister Martin,
The State Duma considered and agreed to the conditions set by the Union. However, we would like to request permission to use the Z-series ships as logistics and trade ships. These are some of the most popular ships in our merchant fleet because of their ease of disposal and repair. Is this acceptable request?

Esteemed Deputy Premier Gajewski,
We are afraid that while we are open to trade relations, forming trust takes time. Z-Series vessels are notoriously hard to properly inspect for contraband, and as such, for the time being we must REFUSE your request. In the meantime, In the meantime, proper procedures to allow your ships into our space are being implemented, we will notify you of any progress on that front.
Our Policy and internal Structure change stumbled upon a very questionable decision done by the previous administration. We do not see any benefit in such long travels by both Military and Civilian Ships. This Treaty has extended its benefits and thus effective immediatly we've recalled all Ships back to our Homeland, most of them already arrived. If we do cross paths again, we will not hesitate to shoot. Your failure to stand against the Bretonian Government and your other Alliance Remnant friends has shown us no benefit to continue this further. All channels shall be terminated.

Premier,
