Good morning,
I'll start by introducing myself as we never met before. I am Father Jonas Davis-Young and keeper of the faith for Humanity Hope. Our group, above being a religious order, is dedicated to medical researchs and development of what we call "biowares". To make more simple, one of our goals is to "hack" the essence of what make us human and overclock it without the use of technological implants.
Earlier today you met our youngest staff member. I must admit that miss Hope is quite easy to impress but her innocence is refreshing during this time of troubles. I thank for your kindness and goodmanner. Not everybody in liberty acting with such courtesy toward our staff.
Miss Hope informed me that you and your group wanted informations about the situation in Inverness and Cortez. As you may already know, the Bretonian Army and Crayter Forces were doing "joint operations" in the sector. This was the prelude of what hapoening now. Few days ago, a joint task force entered the sector to engage and destroy a facility which is, according to the intel, a technocracy base.
We have been told by the Bretonians that it was some sort of pre-emptive attack and that auxos were linked to nomad sighting in the area. This is yet to be confirmed. Where our main issue lie, is the position of Freeport 14. Our location is ideal to stage attacks and launch patrols and this is true from both sides.
Personally, our main issues are ethical and religious. On one side, as zoners, we should be neutral at all cost but we are also bound to Hippocratic oath and our religion well... that's another story i won't bother you with.
If you have more specific questions you are always welcome to visit me on Freeport 14. My door is always open and cup of tea always ready for our visitors.
I'd firstly be content to confess that I had not harbored any explicit expectation of receiving a transmission from your end, let alone one of such captivating nature. As a matter of fact, I had a fruitful exchange with your associate, during which I presented information regarding the technological marvels wrought by the skilled craftsman of the Lane Hackers. It has come to my attention that there exists a growing clamor for such exceptional components, which serve to insulate individuals from the insidious effects of corruption. By refraining from extending trust to governments, an act which involves the risk of compromising one's data to serve their vile purposes, individuals are, in fact, making a significant subsidy to the cause of justice. This cause advocates for the suspension of government exploitation of their workforce, which has plagued societies throughout history.
The empires that surround us are but greedy entities thirsting for authority, their selfish hunger driving them to the limits of their capabilities. I am satisfied to learn that you are committed to deploying this technology for valuable purposes, as the advantages are all-encompassing and the benefits are unmistakable. Although I fear that I may have been overly talkative, I shall attempt to be more concise in my response. I would like to extend my sincerest gratitude for the added information you have furnished, which has enabled me to glean a more comprehensive understanding of this given matter. Based on the restrictions that were imposed in those sectors, it was surely apparent that there was a questionable agenda at play. According to the details you have presented, a modular installation that belonged to Auxesia has been decimated, and your associates were subjected to a type of intimidation. If I may be so bold, I overheard a reference to "Nomads."
Miss Hope has also provided me with some intriguing information concerning the casualties suffered, which I presume were from the modular installation. As you have indicated, Freeport 14 is fortunately intact in the immediate vicinity. However, the presence of Nomads troubles me greatly above all else. Should they be entangled in this network, I do dread that we may have unwittingly opened a notorious Pandora's box, leading to severe repercussions. Nevertheless, let us not assume trouble before it arises. Given that we have launched a discussion referring to these intriguing entities, it would befit us to examine their essence more profoundly and acquire a wealth of knowledge. We should note that if these Nomads extend their influence, our capacity to make feasible decisions would be compromised. Hence, it's advisable that you to keep me informed of any insights you obtain concerning their potential presence, so that I can take the appropriate course of action.
Now to the matter at hand. The manner in which they manage their affairs from Freeport is typical of their inefficacy - those lapdogs truly care about nothing but their own petty interests. For precisely these reasons that I make a point of avoiding Freeports unless circumstances demand otherwise. I have no desire to take lives and contribute to the suffering of the local population. Personally, I typically work to shorten their presence in the Independent Worlds, but this is nothing particularly groundbreaking. While we're on the subject, kindly feel free to furnish us with information on Bretonia's movements, offensives, and any other applicable details. The more we scrutinize such similar cases, the more we prioritize the formulation of well-crafted procedures. However, regardless of any circumstance, it would be in your best interest to partially ignore the military lackeys, avoid direct confrontation, for they possess a fleeting power that will someday break apart.
I express my sincerest gratitude for the gracious invitation extended to me to visit Freeport 14. I believe our talk has been most fruitful and enlightening, but let not the pressures of the moment beset you. History confirms to the fact that there will always be those who defy the shackles of imperialism, like myself and my esteemed colleagues. As for my conduct, Hackers are notable for their delicate yet effective methodology, one that stands in a class of its own. And, of course, should the need arise, we remain open to the exchange of Counterfeit Software, the usefulness of which I am certain you have recognized.
