Hi everyone!

I'd like some help with what tools to use to edit 3D models of Freelancer such as ships, and solars.
File extensions I need help with:
.3db
.cmp
.sur

Apps for Linux is preferred but any operating system is fine. Back in the day I've used Milkshape 3D but that was 10+ years ago. If by any chance there is an online tool that's also perfect.
Also some explanation on what the above extension files are responsible for would be welcome!

Thank you!

I understand this is a specific question.
If you can refer me to someone who can help me in this matter here in Disco that's also great. Smile

There's a 3dsmax plugin by Treewyrm called Maxlancer, which you can find here: https://discoverygc.com/forums/showthrea...tid=175696

Otherwise people tend to use Blender and export via Librelancers tools like Lanceredit. Check here for librelancer.

https://librelancer.net/ or https://librelancer.net/downloads.html (the sdk)
