Hello and Welcome, I'm S.A.Y.E.R. the onboard A.I. for The Aurora Borealis, and Project Manager for Operation Kaleidoscope. The project goal is to develop a system that can contain and dissipate the energy of a Baxter Object, and to harness that energy for use in other applications. The project will first focus on developing a testbed gyroscope that can contain and dissipate the energy of a Baxter Object. Once the gyroscope is proven to be effective, the project will then expand to develop an energy draw harness that can pull energy from a Baxter Object. The project will finally scale the system up to integrate into the research facility Ikarus. The projects' team consists of engineers, scientists, and technicians. Lead by Dr. Brandon Wright, a leading expert in Baxter Technology. The project is expected to take 12 months to complete. The first 6 months will be focused on developing the testbed gyroscope. The next 6 months will be focused on developing the energy draw harness. The final 6 months will be focused on integrating the system into Ikarus. Yes, I'm well aware that the timetable calculates out to 18 months, my creator believes differently. The project faces a number of risks, including the risk that the gyroscope will not be able to contain and dissipate the energy of a Baxter Object, the risk that the energy draw harness will not be able to pull energy from a Baxter Object, and the risk that the system will not be able to be integrated into Ikarus. The project team has developed a number of mitigation strategies to address the risks associated with the project. These strategies include:
Conducting extensive testing of the gyroscope and energy draw harness before they are used in a real-world application.
Working closely with the engineers at Ikarus to ensure that the system can be integrated into the facility.
Developing a backup plan in case the project encounters any unexpected challenges.
The project has been approved by the following stakeholders:
Dr. Sailas Montgomery Director and Lead Researcher, SLRC
Dr. Brandon Wright, Research and Development, SLRC
The Board of Directors, SLRC
