"Nexus"-Class Starfliers Network Beacon
An improved version of the Hyperspace Matrix
Current Status:
Planning Stage

Over the few years the Starfliers had used Survey Modules to obtain Entry Vectors for Jump Drives, all the information had done was sit on their server. With the recent firmware updates to the Jump Drives and Hyperspace Matrixes, the Starfliers think that they could design an improved version of the current hardware using their large library of old hyperspace co-ordinates. One that would enable even longer jump distances at the cost of entry vector accuracy.

Main Features of the "Nexus"-Class Starfliers Network Beacon

  • The Beacon will be designed to operate at full power when used by the Starfliers and the Technocracy
  • Distance at which ships can use the Matrix is +3 systems, doubling a Jump Drives maximum range
  • Tweaking the distance has meant the accuracy of the device has been lowered to 10 clicks
