I am not sure if it is the place for it, but I will simply explain what I want to do here.
Okay, so to start, I 'know' how to record when I play x video game by using the Window + G However, I noticed it was reducing my FPS in some games, especially freelancer. I usually run the game at 120 - 150 fps and when I record by using the method I use usually, it drops the FPS to 70 and if I am in a system like Omega-52, it will be just worse. But this is just an example.
So, I am looking for a software able to record what I play without any drop of FPS. I tried Shadowplay of Nvidia, it does not work. The reasons are many.
Freelancer is not compatible
I tried to find a sitting named: Privacy control but it is missing
I tried multiple solutions and unfortunately, it is not working. So, I am looking for something else. For your information, this is my computer's details.
I've been using Shadowplay with no problems. It works perfectly fine.
ReLive (Radeon) or Shadowplay (Nvidia) are by far the most optimal option. They have next to no impact on the game. OBS/Fraps may need tweaking to not affect the performance of your computer during play.

Also, I've been using an older version of shadowplay. v3.21.0.36 - since it has better support, the font looks better, the fps counter isnt in a stupid place when you try to set it.
If you seriously still can't find the privacy setting, just hit record and it'll prompt if you want to enable desktop capture.
It might actually be that your 1050 simply don't have the horsepower to record + game. Its a very low tier card after all. So that might be why you are struggling.
I take it its a laptop or prebuilt you are using, so its likely not a full 1050 either, but a mobile version with slightly worse stats.
I myself run a 3070, but that is far overkill for disco. I rarely if ever see it go above 25% utilization (also a DX8 issue)
My CPU, a 5900X is practically idling while playing.... but that is a API issue related to the game engine (DX8).
GTX1050 for 1080p60fps might not be enough, I tried and the recording was a choppy mess. Game was allso choppy. 720p30fps shoulld be fine if you want just barebones setup for streaming
Have you tried the Windows Game DVR?
I mean ... it can record at 1080p@60FPS (because it do) at such decent quality (without be choppy or something) with a Bitrate of 40Mbps at "High Quality" setting ... unless you wanna to "Stream it" but if you just wanna record use the Game DVR instead, uses less resources for such nice quality recordings
but at OBS the 1050 can push Freelancer at about 110FPS~ if you are Streaming at 60FPS above 5-6Mbps of Bitrate or Higher this is due the 1050 having a Nvenc but isn't fully optimized
About Omega-52, Frame drops when you approach the planet this is because (and is reported) about "particles" near it, it happens to me so i belive is just a thing or badly optimized or something is taking time to perform at all using the D8D9.dll (to make the game run of GPU) is less notorious if you are in Fullscreen, but Windowed is impossible to not have such issues, kinda interesting ...
As i told if you are like @Tenshi Kuonji who stream sometimes the game to Twitch then stream it using some kind of 4-5 Mbps~ at max at somewhere around 900p ...
But if you are looking for 1080p @ 10+Mbps in streaming while playing ... then sadly is too much for such small encoder ...
If you are just recording, use the Windows DVR Recorder, can record up to 6 Hours or so ... continuously ... so you will not have such issues ...
but using Shadow Play at least for me only dropped me FPS till i accomodate to a bitrate somewhere in the 30~'s
(And after that i just installed the Nvidia GPU Driver using a cheat to not install anything else i don't need like Shadowplay or other useless nvidia crap that cost more than what benefit could get from such things)
but yep, you can do such thing, because the 1050 can run Discovery at max at 175~ or so in FPS even in Event Battles ... I have tried it ... //with same card on Laptop ...
