*Grand Admiral Sius Malacos walked up to the podium prepared for him in Toledo's largest open hall. Various pilots and leaders from the Order, Corsairs, and even Zoners have gathered for what has been called a first in Order history. Malacos didn't see this as an easy thing to do, but it had to be done either way. He sipped some water from the glass on the podium and began to talk."
Greetings all, fellow pilots, and our esteemed allies, the Corsairs and Zoners.
As you may be aware, there have been recent... arguments between the Order and Corsairs. These are regarding mainly the trade of artifacts, as well as the usage and sharing of Order and Corsair technology, both in weaponry and vessels.
One of the major voices for the Order, Aki Kimura, has done a lot of talking in these arguments, some of which has led to some hostility towards the Corsairs, and has threatened our alliances.
In these past weeks, I have recieved both mail and visits from many concerned pilots from both the Order and Corsairs regarding Kimura's actions.
Therefor, based on popular demand, and in the danger of hostility between the Order and the Corsairs, I hereby request the Court Martialing of Admiral Aki Kimura, of the Order High Command. If granted, Admiral Kimura is to be stripped from her rank and position in the Order High Command, and perhaps replaced with a member of the primary or secondary fleets. This isn't easy for me as Kimura is a close frined of mine, however I must speak for my pilots, and am therefor doing my duty speaking here infront of you all. I wish to bring this to the attention of the other High Command members, as it will be us who will decide the actions that will befold on Admiral Kimura.
For right now there is not much to say. I have personally stepped in in these... talks between the Corsairs and the Order, and have relieved my officers of this duty so I may personally attempt to set records straight again.
If there are any involved parties or independant, both Order or Corsair, who have any comment on this Court Martial, please speak so now. I hope to resolve this situation as soon as possible and move on with our lives.
Thank you for your time.
*Upon his closing words, Sius stepped off to the side and walked back out the side door he came in from back to how office wispering only one word to himself... "damnit"...*
Juan had walked in just before the announcement by the Grand Admiral had begun, and lent against the back wall with his eyes closed, listening to the speech. Juan hadn't been one to directly complain about Aki Kimura's words or actions, but he had certainly made his opinions against her known, as had many other Corsairs.
As Admiral Malacos stepped off of his podium, Juan began a slow, loud clap. No one joined in, which was his aim. It was a loud, shrill clap, meant to draw attention rather than to start a cheer.
Stepping up to the podium, Juan picked something out of his pocket. A hastily written script, simply with notes on it, rather than a full speech. Upon hearing that there was going to be a court martial, Juan had raced over to Toledo in his Titan as fast as he could, traversing the thankfully quiet Omicron Kappa and Delta with the other Elders of the Brotherhood in tow.
They were busy sorting out the parking, but had agreed that Juan should go on ahead. That proved to be a good decision, otherwise all of them would have missed the speech.
Coughing to clear his throat, Juan began his response.
Upon this matter, I do not have that much to say. Let me, however, start by saying that I and most, if not all of the Brotherhood, and likely many Corsairs, welcome this move. Aki Kimura's reputation often precedes her within Corsair society, and her name is used liberally by orators who vehemently disagree with the alliance between the Corsairs and the Order. Thankfully, Sius' quick action and hopefully a well deserved punishment administered to Admiral Kimura will all but mute those somewhat currently loud voices.
I would wish to see Admiral Kimura stripped of most, if not all her rank, and taught again what it means to be able to hold your tongue when dealing with sensitive matters of diplomacy. I am no expert on the disciplinary measures that the Order employs however, so anything else that I suggest in this area will likely be either too tame or too violent.
Personally, I would be willing to reset the relations between the Order and the Corsairs, and by extension, the Brotherhood. We could solidify this with a new deal as Sius Malacos stated in a transmission not too long ago. That is neither here nor there right now, though.
I look forward to watching proceedings unfold.
With that, he stepped off of the podium. The crowd was murmuring, some with nods of approval and others with rasping disapproval. Oh well, Juan thought, he came to say his piece and he had done so for the time being. Of course, if something else popped up, he would intervene.
For now, he resumed his position leaning against a wall in the back of the hall, and patiently waited for his comrades to join him.
Matt had been chosen to represent the Order in the galaxys ever changing realm of politics no more than a month ago. With the weight of responsibility and the feeling of duty in him, he stepped up to the podium, a speech clutched in his nervous hands. He took a deep breath and began
As many of you here know, Mrs. Kumari has been with us for quite some time. I, on the other hand, have not been with the Order for as long. But, even with the short amount of time that I was able to discuss the going ons of our relationships, I have been able to witness Mrs. Kumaris forceful and misrepresentative delegation on behalf of the Order. Her actions were unsanctified and, I believe, were unfit for the friendly talks that we had with our allies. Our communications were to solve problems, not create them. Kumari did not seem to want to comply with this. Other order representatives including myself had no communications privately with Mrs. Kumari, and unfortunately we had to solve our internal problems in public. This as you may guess, is embarrassing. Mrs. Kumari may be a respected veteran of the Order forces, but her irrespective nature has no excuse. Thank you.
Ending his speech with more confidence than he started with, Matt steps down from the podium and resumes his seat, waiting patiently for the next speaker.

//The personal bias coming from some of you is astonishing... wait, I take that back, it isnt, I fully expected this kind of attitude from most of you. The one I didnt expect was Swiss, making a thread which impacts the RP of someone else's character without even speaking to the person in private beforehand. That's generally referred to as metagaming, and it is frowned upon on this server.
//Regardless, you guys can do as you wish, I'm done with the order. Aki will go her own way, I wont sacrafice millions of credits worth of investment and hours upon hours of RP just because a few of you ungrateful jerkoffs are throwing a hissyfit. So, to the bulk of you: screw off.
