Good Afternoon (or is it morning?) Bristol Sales Team,
I am Sean Goodman, Magister Fabricae for the Gryphon, under the umbrella of the Starlight Research Consortium. We are interested in acquiring more information about the Bulwark, a vessel produced by your Manufacturing team.
While we are aware of the challenges the Bulwark has faced in certain areas, the Consortium, as a primarily edge-world organization, is less constrained by such regulations. We are particularly interested in the vessel's operational capabilities, as our current DL-series Border Worlds Transport is insufficient for our needs in the Omicrons and beyond.
We would appreciate any additional details you can provide.
Mobility
The ship maintains a steady cruise speed of 415 m/s, an impulse speed of 100 m/s and thrust of up to 220 m/s.
Defensives
The ship carries a proprietary composite armour enriched with iridium inserts for increased effectiveness against external shockwaves. This level of defensiveness adds to its overall mass, making the ship exceptionally heavy. The ship comes with a respectable armament of Battlecruiser grade weaponry to help deter even the most determined raiders. The power core has also been limited to below the Warship output, in accordance to the Sirius Transportation Regulations.
Cargo
The cargo is internally divided between a hangar - which occupies the most space - and a series of cargo compartments totalling 4,300 cargo units. The hangar is accessible via large external doors installed on the underside of our ship. The cargo space is accessible from both sides through specialized cargo doors equipped with tractor beams for easier handling of cargo.
Should you require any additional information on the ship, please do let us know. We also offer a leasing fee to corporations and governments for testing purposes and compatibility verifications with the leasing party's goals for the ship.

Ah, Mr. Otork, a pleasure,
Thank you for the detailed specifications on the Bulwark. While the vessel's defensive capabilities are impressive, our primary concern lies in its operational range and cargo capacity, particularly for extended missions to the Omicrons and beyond.
We would be interested in discussing the specific terms of a leasing agreement, including duration, cost, and any potential modifications to the vessel to better suit our needs.
In addition, we present a compelling opportunity, the Consortium possesses a surplus vessel equipped with an Ingenuus Power Core, a state-of-the-art energy source that could significantly enhance the Bulwark's performance. We believe this could be a mutually beneficial arrangement, as it would allow Bristol to acquire a cutting-edge power source, while the Consortium would benefit from a more capable vessel for our operations.
We look forward to exploring these possibilities further.

Mr. Goodman,
I thank you for the clarification on what you are looking for specifically.
Our internal tests have confirmed that the Bulwark, being built for deep space traversal, is capable of doing just that. The ship has been flown from the edges of Gallic space, through the Taus, through Liberty and finally into the depths of Rheinland. This voyage has not required the crew of the Bulwark to make a single stop. The ship requires a more infrequent scheduled maintenance of once every 3 years, however due to Bristol being the only supplier of this, the cost of maintenance can be high, depending on the damage sustained.
As a large portion of Bristol's operation is the transportation of goods within and without the Five Houses, the protection of our personnel is of paramount importance. However, we also do not neglect both personal and communal comfort. The ship, being officially registered as a Heavy Explorer, is capable of sustaining an operational crew of 50 souls for 90 days without running out of supplies (Please note that a crew of 50 is the minimum requirement for the optimal performance of the vessel). There are some variances in this as with some cargo sacrifices, the ship can host up to 150 souls, however that is generally not something we anticipate to be commonplace for such deep space exploration.
Additionally, we have had several expedition and transportation tests throughout the very same Omicrons as well, and the ship has preformed admirably on all counts, including standing its ground when needed.
Our official stance on increasing the Bulwark's power output has to remain a strong "no". However, after consulting with my colleagues, we would very much be interested in the possibilities this would open for both parties.
To address the final point, the lease we currently offer for the Bulwark is as follows.
Standard Rental Rate:
The standard rental fee is 500,000 credits per week.
Included in this fee, Bristol Constructions and Manufacturing commits to providing necessary technical assistance, including regular maintenance, refueling, and expertise for weapon and equipment exchanges.
Up to four weeks of rental fees will be deducted from the final contractual price if you decide to purchase these ships.
Ownership and Crew:
The leased ships will remain the property of Bristol Constructions and Manufacturing.
Our company will provide the crew for the vessel, who will be fully cooperative to meet the needs of your evaluations.
Purchase Option:
Bristol Constructions and Manufacturing commits that at any time during the trials, you may opt to purchase this ship. This will allow for full transfer of ownership and control over the leased vessel.
Data Security:
In the event that you decide not to proceed with the purchase, Bristol Constructions and Manufacturing commits to erasing any sensitive data from the ships computer systems in cooperation with your personnel should you deem it necessary.
Should you have any additional questions or concerns regarding any part of the Bulwark or the leasing of the vessel, please do let me know.

Thank you for the detailed information regarding the Bulwark's capabilities. We are particularly impressed by its extended range and durability.
While we appreciate your firm stance on the Bulwark's power output, we remain intrigued by the potential synergies between our organizations. The Consortium is open to exploring alternative applications for the surplus Ingenuus Power Core, such as enhancing Bristol's base infrastructure or manufacturing processes.
To proceed with our evaluation, we propose a two-week lease of a Bulwark. The terms of the lease as outlined are acceptable. However, should the vessel meet our expectations, we would like to negotiate a reduced purchase price in exchange for the Consortium’s expertise and knowledge of advanced power core technology.
We look forward to your response and the opportunity to forge a mutually beneficial partnership.

Dear My Goodman,
We are glad to hear that the Consortium approves of the Bulwark's performance.
I will put you in contact with our Board members to further discuss the prospect of integrating the Ingenuus Power Core into the Bristol ship line and station construction. I am certain they will be thrilled over the possibilities here.
We accept the lease and will be transferring the access and control codes to yourself once the first payment has been confirmed as received. Please forward the funds to the account named Akutan. I will reach back out to you directly on the 14th of this month to remind of the 2nd instalment. Should the vessel evaluation be going smoothly, I would ask that we reconvene here 24-48 hours prior to the expiry of the lease, should you wish to make the purchase of the ship in full. This would prevent any kind of operational disruptions with transitions of crews.
Lastly, as this will be a rented vessel and for the duration of the lease will remain the property of Bristol, we would ask that the vessel retains our designation "BCV" while you add your own organisation's designations to it for your own records. We would also ask that the final designation is shared with Bristol as we do keep records of these ships and their temporary ownerships.

Mr. Otork,
Our purser has provided a receipt which has been attached below, at this time we are still working though a committee to decide upon a final name but we will of course keep you apprised of the vessels designation during this trial period.
. User ID:Dominik Otork Recipient:Sean Goodman Subject:Bulwark .
Dear Mr. Goodman,
Our finance department has confirmed the receipt of the funds. The access and control codes have been transferred directly to yourself via a secure channel. Should you require any assistance during the leasing period, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Until next time, we wish you all the best with your evaluation!

Mr. Otork,
While we have only had the vessel for five days we can whole heartily say that the vessel meets all of the Consortiums expectations, and then some. We therefor would like to begin the buyout portion of the lease. We understand however if an extra weeks fees need to be submitted while the paperwork is finalized. Additionally the Consortium would like to source a EW-109 Dual Railgun for the Bulwark. If this could be factored into the final price I'm sure the accounting teams would greatly appreciate only needing to send one wire.
