Guten tag, friends of Malta. Today at 0110 hours I brought in a shipment of slaves. I transmitted my usual greeting message like I always do. Here is the ensuing conversation from my gun-cams:
This is intolerable! I have done nothing but good for Malta and to have this independent twerp speak to me like this is an outrage! AN OUTRAGE! I should turn my operations and the operations of all other slavers around just for this! Until this man is dealt with, I shall no longer bring slaves into Malta or distribute its cardamine. I will also dissuade other traders of continuing to trade. I have been doing this for too long to take this kind of verbal abuse and threats.
It hurts me to see the Outcast's name shamed by this man. It should hurt you as well to see a man like this in your ranks. A true embarrassment.
It hurts me to make this decision, but I must in order to make a point: You need my ship for your operations. I hope you make the right choice.
Signed,
Nihilius Clark.

Emilio sighs.
Another one whining about an insult, I see. Last time we got involved with an incident like that, the poor fool decided to start a rebellion. You may have heard of him, he's been trying to rob cardamine haulers. Does the name Ryuujin Jakka ring any bells?
I'll inform the other Dons of this. Hopefully we can avoid another pathetic uprising; I'm rather tired of finding Gunships going missing from Valetta.
Pathetic is your attempt to downplay a threat. You missed your chance to do that in the beginning. Now you're just making yourself look like a fool. More and more Outcasts are coming to me, telling me they have had enough of you. This incident here is just one of many examples of the Dons putting money before their people. Even the Corsair dogs defend their own kind. You allow anyone who helps line your pockets to spit in the faces of any Outcast. You ask that they lower their heads to outsiders and take any insult for the sake of your own greed. You are too dumb to realize by stripping the dignity from your own people, you are turning them against you. Leaving them to wander without honor, seeking a path for justice, revenge, or both. It is then when they come to me. A place where they can join others who have tasted your injustice. A place where they can stand and lift their heads up with honor and fight against your oppressive hold on the Maltese people. Even those within your inner circle have contacted me... You have no idea how fast your foundation is crumbling beneath you.
While you continue to downplay the Stray, your reapers and ghosts are being killed, as well as your transports. Make no mistake we do not "try to rob" transports with slaves or cardamine. We kill them swiftly. Even the fool here complaining to you now has cowered before my gunship more than once. Although if I am not mistaken the word used by the Dons in response to their transports being killed was..... "amusing". Undeniable arrogance. I find myself also "amused" that you would bring my name up so randomly. Do you think of me often sweety? I can only imagine how many complaints you get... it's probably hard not to.

I am ending this due to communications with Junker allies. Now is not the time to make war with our allies. Just keep your independents in line. Next time this happens, I'm killing him.

It's good that we got this matter resolved peacefully. Of course, if such an incident does occur again and you do kill the other pilot, it would be to your benefit to preserve all evidence of the encounter so we can properly determine who the guilty party is.

I ask the honorable Don to hear what I have to say on this matter.
I do not support this blasphemous uprising or know the pilot Orpheus, but have had the misfortune of meeting the junker in question.
The first thing I heard from him was a complaint when another guardian of Malta was telling him to stop for a cargo scan before allowing him to land in our home. He obviously felt he should be allowed to land without permission or scan. This was followed by the same Rhinelandish insults he spurted at Orpheus. I did not attach importance to him then. The fact that this junk collector and seller of his own kind should call us, who have outgrown the human condition with the help of the most merciful spirits, 'sub-human' only caused some amusement. I did not end his wretched life because he is a tool of the spirits in the spreading of their orange dream, even if he has not embraced it himself.
However I do call your attention to something he said: He said he may stop assisting us in spreading the spirits will to more humans, and also ask his allies to end their dealngs with us. This shows that his true motives for the insults and causing this incident may be hidden. He also seems bent on landing on Malta without scans.
If this is his intention, I ask for your permission to throw the shreds of his ship and body onto the junkyard they spawned from before he does any damage.

Interesting indeed. I wish I could say that all Junker captains run their ships with some form of common sense, but that just isn't true. I see no reason for any Junker to be insulting the Outcasts, and I certainly do not approve of any captain insulting a faction in their own home system. I have masted many a captain for such offenses. So, here's how it is. ALL Junker vessels are expected to display humility and courtesy when entering Omicron Alpha. You may deal with any captain who fails to do so as you see fit and I promise you there will be no complaint from the Junker Congress.

An interesting point, madam. I have a simple response.
While he is transporting workers and Cardamine, he is useful to us. When he is doing neither, he is not. Given his attitude, when he is not directly working in support of the Maltese economy, you may certainly consider him a target of opportunity, should your business be of a more piratical nature.
Further, when someone is told to stop for a scan, they will either stop for a scan or find their ship sent back to the Junkers in a thousand cargo containers. We do not have many laws. This is one of them. They should be very easy to remember.
