Rather old, unhealthy looking man enters the bar of Rochester. Wearing something what might've been
Junker uniform once, there is nothing really suspicious about him. He looks around the bar for a while, and
then, shamlessly and without invitation sits on a free spot at the table, full of evident pirates. Ignoring the
fact they all stopped speaking, giving him really unfriendly looks, he smiled and started talking.
"Hey you guys! Heard it? Heard it already?"
The pirates just looked at each other. "I mean. That. That doc. Heard he's lookin' for people. Especially people with no relatives. Though you
might be interested, you know? Thay say he's willing to pay-good for any and all people others find around.
Better than Slavers do. They say he doesn't care if it is navy pilot, who's considered lost, old drunk or just a
lost traveller, he's buyin' it all, as long as there's a guarantee noone will be looking for them if they
disappear permanently, you know what I mean... Though you might be interested, you know, I think all the
guys like you there *points on seriously tough looking man* must run across some of those... cargos. Wha-?
Paid to say you that? Oh no, no way, no way, that doc would NEVER pay someone like ME to tell someone
like YOU that he buys human cargo noone will be looking for... No way, really. A-a-anyway, gotta run. Have
a drink on me."
Old man smiles, orders a drink for the whole table and -randomly- drops a few papers on the table, waves
and leaves the bar.
One of the pirates takes tha paper and stares on the private frequency adress written on it.
"Hah. Lemme guess. He want's us to contact hims on this frequency when we get some peeps with no
future."
"...And there's totallly no way someone paid him to tell us, eh?" Laughed other one. "Well, well, hey says the pay is better than slavers can offer. I wonder. Maybe we should try?"
...Few hours later....
Old man enters the bar on Trafalgar and looks around....
I buy things I don't want to make an impression on people I don't like.
"Oh no y' dont. News travels faster than you mate, this 'aint no recuitment center. If y' wanna do that y' can take it int' t' void like everyone else."
