This message was sent from address: 1726 Sventon Rd, BBR Headquarters on Stuttgart.
To the office of the Rheinland Military on New Berlin. I hope this message reaches you without too much issue.
My name is Harton Ford, Director and Founder of Building Better Robots. Our firm is dedicated to developing AI and Robotic Components to better advance Sirius. Our technology is widespread and useful. We have recently completed development of an advanced AI program. This program, labeled "Aaai", or, "Advanced Assistance Artificial Intelligence" Is designed to act as a portable Zoner Freeport of sorts, traveling Sirius and the Borderworlds, giving aid to to pilots in need and enforcing security in the Houses (Excluding Liberty)
What I require from you is but one Cruiser. We've run several small-scale tests on ships up to Gunboat size. They all work flawlessly. If we could have one of your Cruisers, we would retrofit it and return the parts that are not needed, namely, the life support. We understand that the war in Liberty is tough, however, we believe that in the long run, this ship will greatly benefit the whole of Sirius. We would also not hesitate to add programs to it to allow the Rheinwehr commanders order it around and add preset conditions to engage Libertonian vessels.
In conclusion, we would require, in total:
One Rheinland Cruiser. No crew is required.
One set of papers signifying that we lawfully own it.
We hope you will consider our request. Thank you and good day.
Signed, Harton Ford. Director of Building Better Robots.
Our engineers tell us that we do not need a full Military Cruiser. What we require instead are the blueprints for the original, so we may produce a modified version. A Science cruiser. The development will come out of our own pocket, and we will produce it in the Daumann shipyards. First we need the green light for the blueprints from your Admirality.
Your request was carefully processed with by the responsible Burreau in the Naval Admiralty.
If you agree to the following terms and conditions followed below, you have the full authority of the manufacturing process of 1 (one) Rheinland warship Cruiser class chassis.
Terms of Condition:
The Blueprints will not be duplicated or leave the Daumann Heavy Construction shipyard of your choice.
Only high ranking representatives of the BBR Company are beeing authorized for access to the chosen shipyard.
All parts of the chassis will be manufactured by the Dauman Heavy Cosntruction Company under special Military supervision.
The Rheinland Military Admiralty preserves the right to change parts of the modified blueprints by BBR.
Any vital parts, which could lead to reverse engineering by enemies of the Rheinland sovereignity, will be taken out of the modified blueprints.
The interior and the electronic systems, will have to be manufactured on your own or outsourced by calling on Rheinland civilian manufacturers.
Vielen dank. We shall burn the blueprints as soon as we are done replicating them into a temporary system and leave the system disconnected from any network. The machine will thereafter be destroyed.
We agree to all of your Terms. This is a great honor, and I will personally oversee the operation. We will have company security on station at all times. The construction we be but a few weeks, months at most. We will leave the doors open to any and all ranking Military personnel for inspection. And, of course, if you wish to terminate the project, that is your whim. AAAI can make due in a modified fighter or bomber class vehicle, which we already have on the assembly line.
Ai herself is overjoyed to hear you accept our request. If you visit our headquarters, I'm sure Ai would chat your ears off about how grateful she is.
Signed, with great enthusiasm and respect,
Harton Ford
