Good Day, Commander,
One of my people, the commander of the [TAZ]Ticked. Pheonix, filed a report with me that I found most disturbing. Of all the groups in Liberty, I would imagine the Liberty Navy would want to set a fine example. I don't doubt this report but, as the old adage goes, I'm sure there is another side to this story. I also know that Bethlehem Station has turned into a junction of trouble of late but when one of my men loses a ship and crew and Bethlehem itself comes under fire, I need to look into this. Attached is the report that was filed with me.
Comm ID: Thomas Mellows (under Xavier Triton)

Greetings Doc,
Seems today we had an incident with Liberty Navy.
While I was on my guard duty outside Bethlehem, i noticed a LN-Jack.Wills firing upon a Junker by the name of Southern.Hustler, I asked the LN to stop firing. He complied. Moments later he fired again, and I told him to leave. He then went on to argue that the Junker fired on him which I never saw, so I again insisted he provide evidence of such or leave. He left. During this time he reported to his superiors who decided it prudent to assemble an assault fleet and come to Bethlehem. Trying to be impartial as possible I asked the commanding officer for the evidence that implicated the Junker. The LN decided to deny me this and demanded that I allow them to handle the Junker as they saw fit. I refused and insisted that they merely transfer any pictorial evidence to me so I could eject the Junker with cause. Instead they deemed it neccessary to fire on me, my associates and Bethlehem itself. I lost my commanders Eagle, which was insured mind you. Needless to say the Eagle's original was of value to Xavier. The Junker was destroyed with prejudice and they left us with broken remnants of innocent bystanders. Needless to say my respect for the Liberty Navy has been shaken today as they showed that they have next to no care for our laws or our lives.
I am here as an agent of diplomacy and will not issue demands. I would expect the same. Proof was denied to Mr. Mellows and the guncam of Mr. Mellows was destroyed by Naval fire. I am asking that the officers involved be disciplined. The only name I current have is that of Officer Jack Wills but as he brought re-enforcements, I know others were present. I am also asking for reimbursement to Mr. Mellows for the loss of his ship.
Understand, we are trying to do our part to maintain security there. We are not the enemy.

Regarding the recent incident around Bethlehem station;
First and foremost, the Liberty Navy requires visual evidence of the actions committed at any incident before taking action, legal or otherwise. Believe it or not, both I and Commander Casero have already tried to get evidence from the guncam of our pilot, Jack Will, but the first portion of the evidence was corrupt. This is the key portion, so currently, we have very little to present each other.
The only thing I have to add to the account by your contact is that Jack Will claimed that the Junker in the pirate train had opened fire on him outside of the NFZ. If that is assumed, like everything else that has been assumed in that account, to be correct, then Officer Will did very little wrong.
But, the major hindrance to any disciplinary action, reimbursement or otherwise is the lack of evidence on both sides. As it stands, all I see are words, and the last words I heard from a certain Planetform| director were very hard to believe.
I might also say that the Pirate Train is an illegal ship in Liberty. While we recognise Zoner sovereignty in the five kilometer radius of Bethlehem, there is also no way out of that radius without going through core Liberty space, of which Pennsylvannia is a part.
I understand that you're doing your part to enforce Zoner security around a Zoner station. However, understand also that our pilots are getting increasingly frustrated with many criminals escaping to Bethlehem station after successfully committing acts of piracy on innocent ore miners. I have witnessed this first hand on several occassions. We are simply trying to enforce our security aswell, which is currently slipping due to the presence of Bethlehem.
One thing of more concern to us is that our communications relay was hacked by a Zoner, a man named Paul E. Tibbets who is captain of a Zoner gunboat, the Enola.Gay. That is a criminal offense, and proof of this hack can easily be supplied. Until further notice however, that particular Zoner is considered a criminal by Liberty.

Commodore,
I do appreciate your response. I've taken care of Mr. Mellows' expense on the matter myself so I'm not overly concerned on that to this point.
As far as the Enola Gay is concerned, he's not one of my own. I know of him but he is not TAZ registered. Your issues with him are between you and him. Unless you have other issues, I will consider this matter closed.
