Subject: Dublin Situation
I suppose congratulations are in order Mr Goldman. We have been waiting for solid intel on the Dublin situation for a very long time and now you have provided enough to act on.
With the shock retirement of Chief Commissioner Palmer it will take a few days for the BPA to be fully on form, but when that happens we will begin our cleansing operation, Operation [i]Rock Polish I believe it has been christened.
Using your information we will take a strike group into Dublin and put an assertive hold on the system and hopefully push the Mollys back and prevent the rampant piracy on miners.
Also this should allow us to intercept any Traders or Smugglers moving goods through the system.
Please provide (if possible) the routes and favored contraband of said smugglers and any information you have on illegal Samura miners so we can also put a halt to their regime.
You may keep the two million credits and consider it your compensation and reward for bringing this valuable intel to us and assisting in giving the pirates a bloody nose.
We are always in need of good people to join the standard BPA enforcement Authority and would be honored if you would consider, now that your cover has been compromised, enlisting again as a uniformed Officer.

Re: Dublin Situation
Good afternoon, Commander.
I'm pleased to hear that the intelligence I gathered contributed to the establishment of such an operation. House Authority's exactly what the Dublin miners need right now, and they'll be glad to see the flashing lights of the BPA come soaring through the New London gate and come to their aid.
I understand the need for further clarification about particular aspects of the report. Firstly, here is an attachment of my Virage's navigation map of Dublin.
As you're aware, the Battleship Essex is the only operational battleship posted in the system and has been posted exclusively to monitor traffic through the single jump gate in the system. The Battleship Hood, whilst presently operating as a Freeport, no longer possesses engines, weapons or other equipment essential for combat. Thus, neither of these ships could be utilised in a combat force.
However, their locations are ideal for establishing checkpoints.
The miners have warmed to a particular gold field in the system, notable in the sectors 2F-3G. This is the furthest location away from Molly forces, and also lies behind the two battleships. If all the miners remained inside or near this field, BPA defenses would be optimal.
Alright, so now down to current movements and established ground.
The area outlined in yellow is the preferred mining ground by the gold miners at present. With recent assaults by both Mollys and Kusarians, the situation at Graves Mining Station is too risky for said miners to assume safety near the base, and thus, have moved as far away as possible. This is a serious problem as you and I would both understand. Graves MUST be reclaimed, and the miners must be made aware that it is safe if we're to gain any solid ground in the operation.
The first priority should be to defend the northern lines from southern attack. On top of this, smugglers and pirates alike enter and leave the system through the jump holes included in the map, and these two points are no doubt key sources for pirate supplies. These fall behind the northern line, so by keeping them seperate from the pirates, we can use the line to cut supplies AS WELL as defending the miners.
The smugglers were carrying such holds as Black Market Munitions, Counterfeit Software and, as I intercepted from one of the Molly-to-Smuggler comms, 'live' cargo, whatever you can make of that. So whilst I cannot tell you where exactly in the system the smugglers were moving their cargo to, I can assert that they're moving in and out of the system through the holes.
The green outlined area was my patrol route before the aforementioned incident, including the two checkpoints: The Essex and the Hood. I sighted few Samura transports in my operation but the ones I did were situated inside that area. I would wager the Kusarians are hesitant to stray any further south, as the Mollys do not take too kindly to them and are even more of a target for the Mollys than the BMM miners in the system. Something about Dublin Gold leaving Bretonia, I guess.
As I've already hinted in my wording in this communication, such as saying 'we' instead of 'you' when referring to the operation, I have indeed thought about your proposed offer for me to enlist as a uniformed BPA officer. With the other systems covered by fellow BPA NUUs and my replacement for Dublin preparing for briefing, I am now on 'leave until further notice'. With this in mind, both the Chief and I have established that whilst my work brought valuable intel to light, my services are now no longer required by the NUU at present. 'Take the break of your life', the Chief said. 'You earned it.'
I don't do breaks.
The hospital will release me sometime tonight according to the docs. Soon as I'm out, I'll be at your office signing the papers.
