Honored and... Distingushed... Shogunate of the Blood Dragons movement.
On behalf of the Transhuman arm of the Consortium Overwatch, there are matters we need discussed.
Now, we are aware of and have respected your moratorium on docking rights on your organization's controlled bases, but due to the simple nature of war, the strategic situation demands a re-evaluation of this.
Specifically, Sendai Research Station and Ryuku base. We wish to re-register and expand the Consortium's docking permissions on these bases. As you remember, we previously discussed with the Taishogun himself regarding use of Sendai's labs for Exogen research. This agreement stands from our side, but we wish to expand Sendai access to full basement of Airwatch squadrons.
As well, we also request full access to Ryuku base's facilities. There are several reasons for this.
Firstly, the Battleship Matsuda is no longer a reliable staging point for our entire northern fleet. It is too small to support our main fleet and the GC's disposition there has cooled in recent months. As well, Sendai's proximity to planet Niiza as well as the Jumphole to Nagano are highly conductive to our operations in those areas.
With Ryuku, we simply need a forward staging area to monitor the Exogen Breach and more importantly, activities of the Order. The Hogosha may use the route through there as well, if they discover the path through Order space to Omicron Delta. And finally, the simple fact that we have relied too heavily on exclusive use of GC facilities to support our northern and southern fleet forces.
In return, we intend to commit our own logistics units to help maintain and supply both bases (fully supply our own forces, and any overflow in supplies will go directly to the Dragons on board), as well as assist in defense and Joint operations. Of course, we will acknowledge and respect the Dragons' seniority regarding both bases' administration and follow their instructions to the letter.
I believe the professionalism and competence of our troops and crews has been shown and proven over the years' worth of time the Dragons and Consortium have fought alongside one another. And such co-operation would also further tighten the alliance between our two factions in order to better deal with Kusari's ever-increasing military strength, and other outside threats.
Such co-operation will streamline relations and Joint Strike capability, and position ourselves for planned take-and-hold strikes into Okinawa and Nagano. The exact details of such strikes, though, are best discussed over more... secure channels.
