I felt a bit bad to call two gunboats to drain the earned bots again.
Yes, it is normal.
Yes, you should feel bad about calling in an additional two gunboats in against two snubs. I'd personally call that a gank. If we have the people to rely on for bot supply, and you don't, then how about accepting a loss?

What Dane said. Hell, if I was in space being shot at by someone who wanted to kill me, I'd be wondering why the battleship itself isn't defending me (and isn't able to obliterate the target in seconds) or why I can't simply dock aboard safely.
Can Somebody Explain to BMM Collector that freelancers can take bountys as well, it seems that he is unaware of this. It was quite obvious that he was new to the server and he needs a little bit of extra help.
Heres the link to the discussion we had while I was blowing him up. :3 This isn't a negative note I'm just trying to help.

I wasn't quite aware that he reacted like that. I'll be having a chat.
He isn't new to the server, and let's not forget that the IDs have still changed an awful lot of late.
Thanks for your feedback.
Edit: Do hope you were patrolling the fields as part of your regular thing instead of metagaming and hunting us down especially. That would be disappointing.

And i hate Smallwood. The Corrupter of Silver and Hugger of Gold!
[8:32:45 PM] Dusty Lens: Oh no, let me get that. Hello? Oh it's my grandma. She says to be roleplay.

Narr I aways fly those fields a few times a day you can never trust the chat option but 4/10 you never find anything it was just his unlucky day. Also this worrys me, even in the 4.85 servers, bountys were extended to freelancers and mercs so didn't he know that. :-/
edit: also yes I have also had a few problems with BMM ganking me in my fighter and bomber a few days ago when you were building that station I stopped by got shot at by a bowex)fighter, 1 BMM VH miner and a BMM transport thats what I call a very odd gank.
Extra edit: also have you seen this you people like to talk a lot in cap letters its fairly annoying I even had to tell one of your guys to stop it because he was using it just in normal discussion and when I mean normal he was insulting me but they are miners they are ment to have bad manners because they have a crappy job but caps letters talking is a no go.

Okay, I'll do my best to respond to both of you now.
Seafalcon.
Are you referring to secondaries as in capital gunfire? I assume from the same Dunkirk that docked on FP1?
I really have absolutely no clue why you're here with that complaint. Does BMM own Dunkirks? Was it BMM- tagged? If so, do let me know so I can have it forcibly renamed.
The actions of the BAF| or BAF indies is neither under my control, nor that of the BAF|.
As for sportsmanship - if you're in Conneticut, and someone is supplying bots to someone you're dueling, then that's unfair and poor form. If you're in a roleplay situation, you're the bad guy (bad guy bad guy) and the good guy is losing, then in roleplay it would be criminally negligent and prosecutable of the good guys present to fail to provide assistance and allow someone to die as a result.
Your QQ at being outmatched and about some Dunkirk I know nothing of is unwarranted and irrelevant here, and that's being generous.
I do take some offense that you think we don't know how to behave. Other than disagreeing, there's nothing more I could actually say on that bit.
Tobi.Reaper.
Good to hear on the flying front then.
As a person who doesn't own a merc, I was never clear on it, but it was a case of ambiguity and not false belief. Regardless, I don't believe Collector was actually saying you can't collect bounties because you're a freelancer. Everything we've talked about prior, during and after his ship popping would tell me he knows that you can collect on it, quite explicitly.
Moreover, his primary complaint was that you didn't explain the bounty - who, why, etcetera. He wished it was more than a less-than-1-minute interaction. Obviously rules-wise, you're not obliged to. After hours of activity in fields mining lonely, you can understand why we'd want some sort of decent interaction when someone comes along.
With regards to your ganking comment. You sure it was a Bowex) fighter? Much more likely was a Bowex) Clydesdale. You were fighting a freighter, not a fighter, bud. A 2v1 is hardly a gank - we just happen to have more support, which is reasonable and there's nothing stopping you from running. A BMM transport shooting at you is odd, our Titanics are normally ordered to move along while escorts deal with things.
If the Bowex) or respectively the BMM ships asked one another to back off, then it is a problem. If you want to discuss that matter further, can you let me know the names of the BMM fighter, transport, and whether they were BMM- tagged or not?
WITH THE ALL CAPS, HOW COULD YOU POSSIBLY FIND THIS TERRIBLE? IT MAKES EVERYTHING SO MUCH EASIER! In all seriousness, I can't stand it either. Please give me names and evidence so I can discuss it - we definitely don't want people capslock chatting.

So you're saying that it's bad form to call in 2 gunboats to assist with 2 snubs and a battleship but it's not bad form to botfeed 2 snubs from a battleship and then all 3 shooting at a single snub? That's nice.
No, not at all Charos. Keep in mind I have nothing to do with the battleship.
I'm saying it's bad form to call in 2 gunboats additional to whatever forces were already there against 2 snubcraft. I'm not factoring the Dunkirk into the matter as as far as I'm aware, it didn't engage.
If it did, it probably should've stood down until the snubs needed help - but I don't have anything to do with the Dunkirk, so if you're complaining about the battleship's behaviour, don't come whining here. Really, if there's a battleship there and someone is silly enough to engage, that's their fault.
There is nothing preventing them from being supported by nanobot supply. It's sporting to give an equal duel in Conneticut. It's sporting to give a fair fight everywhere else, within bounds. For this reason, I don't believe the battleship should have been firing - yet again, not under my control. I'm not going to order members to die when they have the support available, as it's simply stupid.
Take the loss on the chin gents, act a little more reasonable (in stead of "grow up a bit") and perhaps think twice about engaging people sitting in front of an allied battleship of theirs.
Edit: With regard to the "That's nice" comment; if you have slapped me with the linen glove of duel-challengery sir, you will be defeated should you choose facetious sarcasm as the weapon 8|
