and with the border around the dragon, if I remove it entirely it causes transparency issues.
1. What program do you use? It's called a stroke effect though I didn't know it could be put around objects, I thought it was just text.
2. The transpancy issue may be caused by saving the file as a .jpg. I think you may find the issues gone if you save it as a .png, though I'm not sure. Give it a try.
