The Council of the Rising Suns has declared that the Colonial Government shall have it's right to operate in Kusari revoked for the time period of 7 days. This is in response to the rampant disregard of Kusari authority by the 44th Wing of the CR. This ban affects all Colonial ship, transports, snub craft and capital ships. It is time for the Colonial Government to recognize the supreme authority of the Throne in Kusari, and hopefully this revocation of rights will help you understand that Kusari space belongs to Kusari, not the CR. The Colonial Government can request a reinstatement of rights in 7 days. If any Colonial ships are found to be any were in Kusari before a request for reinstatement of rights, harsher penalties will be imposed on the Colonial Government. Hopefully this will lead to a better respect for Kusari sovereignty.

Sovereignty, respect, rights, superior authority... Seems to me the Japanese nation never really evolved... It actually regressed by several decades compared to what I remember being taught... Perhaps you take this as offense, which i couldn't care less about, but the more I deal with Kusari the more I get the impression, that you represent what was worst about the nation throughout history. Your own corporations practically govern what in essence should belong to the State and Nation. Your criminal syndicate, so close in it workings to the ancient Yakuza runs rampant and never contested by law-enforcement, Labor unions prohibited and prosecuted both by the state and the corporation's security... Now this war raging on first in Tau-31, now in Leeds... Time and time again mysterious "accidents" resulting in the deaths of Independent Miners, Colonials and various other civilians. I even received a few complaints from the miners containing war crime accusations... Plus from a time's perspective I'm also having doubts about how the War began in the first place. Tau-29 already being entirely under corporate control... Fresh water shortages... Had this been a border provocation by the Bretonians, I believe a suitable reply would be an exchange of diplomatic notes after an undecided battle of minor forces instead of an all-out assault into Bretonian hinterland. To be blunt, I think you started it and typically accused your victim of a non-existent transgression to legitimize whatever you'd do afterwards. Our "bonds" with Kusari date back to president Orrin Dymas, who co-incidentally found employment of an advisor for Samura. My own and my Cabinet's respect for his decisions prevented any changes in the policy he laid out thus far, but I must say, that in the recent times my patience was being tried more frequently than normal relations between peers would require. The latest incidents that I recall included an act of piracy conducted by the Hogosha upon one of the Integral Systems Engineering-chartered traders right under the State Police's noses. Despite witness statements and visual evidence, our kind requests for a criminal investigation were rejected. And now the most recent - A call for aid from New Tokyo that turned out to be a childish joke by someone who obviously never should have been put in the command of a naval vessel. The relief force was fired upon and insulted. When they returned fire, you demanded that they were extradited to Kusari for trial. Now I don't know who was commanding that destroyer, but this seems like a very severe case of nepotism. Whoever is commanding that vessel is putting the war effort in jeopardy. And so does the one responsible for empowering that person. All in all, I think I'm tired of listening to Dymas's ghost. In my eyes, no Colonial ever acted against Kusari or broken any laws while time and time and again our own patience was being put to the test. Kusari is a direct descendant of Japan. History showed, that the Japanese were not only expansionist, but also tricky and untrustworthy. Nanjing 1937 atrocity, the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor, Selfish, portectionist business practices... Personally, being raised by parents both originating from the European cultural group, I find the Kusari culture difficult to accept... much less embrace. While everyone is urged to strive for a tolerant and cosmopolitan society, Kusari by far is the most narrow minded, inclusive and agressive of all lawful houses in existence. And in light of the recent developments I find it increasingly difficult to convince myself, my Cabinet and my Nation that there still is a point in the continued cooperation between our states. We have been your faithful allies thus far, And for no longer. For what was good in our past I thank you and bid you farewell in whatever endeavors you embark upon, Emperor.

Fair enough, if you dont feel you benefit from your relations with Kusari, that is up to you. I am glad the Colonial Government yet again chooses the path of insulting and disregard, rather than the path of reconciliation. We have no wish to retain a relationship between Kusari and the Colonial Government if they have no wish to. I will make clear right now, Kusari will not give up on it's sovereignty for the benefit of keeping an ally. If we lose control of our space, to pacify a small mining group from the taus, we lose what it means to be Kusari. As to the laws in question, I will show you a small snip from the Kusari Legal Codex, the laws of Kusari, which your pilots were obviously never educated on,
Quote:NO "Private police forces" are recognized, condoned, nor desired.
This seems to be what the CR is trying to be in Kusari. We have law enforcement agencies, we have a navy, they have their job, and dont need help from miners to do it.
It also now seems that the CR, are not ok with simply staying out of Kusari for 7 days. A massive assault force of the CR attacked the KNF today in Kyushu. That would seem to be the actions of an enemy of Kusari. I am assuming by your actions, you not only wish to end our relations, but also wish to make Kusari your enemy. If that is what you wish, so be it, but you can be assured, you will come to regret that decision.
I end this message by wishing the best for the Colonial Government in the future, we hope you are able to secure another safe route for your niobium to Rhineland, we wish you the best in securing the northern Taus from the Outcasts, we wish you the best in all your future endeavors, but we will have no part in them, we do not need your ships, and they are no longer welcome in Kusari. Jien Kogen

And you do it again... We apparently have outgrown our usefulness in your eyes and you're playing the exact same card with us as you did with Bretonia in tau 31. I resent these accusations just for the record since according to what the reports of my own people say, your fleet wasn't exactly the innocent defenders... Emperor... I do understand, that as a House you are big and powerful and think you can bully people around and expand at their expense... Oh and... We're not a private police force, but a nation composed of the descendants of all United Nations member-state citizens. Humanity's first expedition outside the Solar System sanctioned by the UN security council directive of 2093. If you wish not to recognize us as de-facto representatives of the UN, that's perfectly fine with us. You're nothing but a splintered-off old member state anyway.
