Greetings, I would like to express my intrest in the possibilities of acquiring construction designs for one of your more advanced... Propulsion systems.
I'm sure that we can come to an accord.

Mr. Matterson, I'm sure you know that with the amount of security you have placed on that message, and the computer power required to decode it, we do not have time to guess. Nor do we have to worry about undesirables dropping in for a listen.
Please state clearly what you want, and then we can come to 'an accord'.
I see. Assuming for a minute we have such technology, do you realise the astronomical amount of money it would cost the IMG to acquire one? Not to mention the security measure we would have to go through to make sure it doesn't fall into the wrong hands.
The kind of security that makes a rather large explosion if circumvention is attempted, knowingly or not. I'm quite sure you wouldn't wish this ship of yours to go up like a supernova when the drive gets a jolt.
Whatever do you need such technology for in any case?
I was under the impression that said drives had been used for hundreds of years during the early centurys of colonization... surely they are not that expensive...

Well it seemed to me like you want some kind of Jump Gate-esque technology for your ship? A ship based jump drive, yes? I have no idea where you could get one. None at all. Certainly not from us. Don't you think if we had made such advances, we would of shared this technology for the good of mankind?
As for the 'early centuries of colonisation', the drives used at that point are now rather... archaic. Not to mention wasteful.
I dont expect such a drive to be efficent, nor would i expect it to work like the newest fusion drive on a fighter, but i still have my uses for such an engine.

Mr. Matterson... If I'm hearing you correctly all you're looking for is a long range engine. Something akin to what a Barge uses. Something that you don't have to come to us for.
The engines used during the colonisation of Sirius are a good 700 years out of date. There is no reason to use one, as the technology we use now is far better.
Though, if the Independant Mining Guild is willing to make a donation to Ageira, we might have more luck with our current research in that field. Maybe.
As I doubt such a thing is going to happen, I'm afraid we probably don't have what you're looking for.
Unless you're looking for that Jump Drive Technology I mentioned before.
