If I may divert your attention to section five of the Liberty Law code:
Quote:
V. Foreign Warships.
No warships except those in service within the ranks of the Liberty forces are permitted within the house of Liberty. Warships are classed as any ship of destroyer, cruiser, or larger. This includes the Corvo Cruiser, a ship famous for its research and reconnaissance capabilities.
However, permission can be obtained from the ranking primary fleet officer on duty present for warships of these classes to enter Liberty space. Where possible, these ships will be given an armed escort during their trip through Liberty space. Some reasons for this permission being given may be:
[color=#66FFFF] Diplomatic talks with the government of Liberty or a corporation based within Liberty. The warship in question needing urgent repairs or resupply. Flight through Liberty to avoid a warzone.
If a ranking officer is not present, entrance into the house of Liberty is denied. Warships found within the house of Liberty without prior permission from a primary fleet officer will be, depending on the conditions, escorted out of the house of Liberty or boarded and diverted to moor on Norfolk shipyard in New York. If additional security is required due to the nature of the ship, it will be relocated to San Jacinto station in Virginia. Any resistance will result in the warship being destroyed.
Permission can only be granted by a member of the primary fleet.
Permanent clearance for foreign warships to operate in the house of Liberty is not available.
As you can see, the law is quite specific that foreign warships aren't allowed to operate within Liberty on a permanent basis. However...since your ship will only be zipping in and out of Liberty on a regular basis, not operating there on a permanent basis, your request could be possible.
I'll forward this to my superiors and have them get back to you - You'll likely hear a response from Commodore Robinson shortly, she's much better at this law-decryption than I am.

An exception will not be made for your ship, nor any other of cruiser-class and above.
Regardless of whether it is meant as a warship or not, it is capable of fielding heavy weaponry and thus poses a danger to those around it, especially if any unforseen incidents occur.

Your vessel unfortunately cannot be excepted from our regular security checks. That is not to say that your vessel is barred from Bretonian space, merely that our routine security scans, escorts and checkpoints are neccessary to ensure the integrity of the Bretonian border security in these hostile times and that foreign warships captained by non-Bretonian citizens naturally cannot be guarenteed to be acting at all times in Bretonian interests. Your vessel is, however, free to use Bretonian space in compliance with our standing regulations including submission for inspection on request.
Trusting your understanding in this matter,
Sir Stanley Nelson
Fleet Admiral
