The Liberty Police would like to request permission to purchase a retired Liberty Siege Cruiser from the surplus shipyards. The ship in particular, is currently named the LNS-Huron, a heavily damaged Cruiser, destined to be scrapped due to a large hull breach in its forward hull. The LPI however would like to utilize this vessel as a SWAT vessel. We plan to heavily modify the ship to allow boarding parties to cut into hostile ships or stations, and allow our SWAT ground teams to capture them. We would also like to modify the ship to allow, for a small mobile command center to be established in various precincts, including areas off our regular patrol paths.
With such a vessel, the LPI can become slightly more dependent, and not be forced to call the Navy in to deal with many threats. We recognize that the Navy is currently engaged in a war, and could use a vessel destined to be scrapped to aid in the war effort by preventing Naval warships from being diverted from the front to deal with regular issues, such as pirates.
As such, our official request is for the rights to purchase the LNS-Huron, an aged Siege Cruiser, along with weaponry to operate the ship. Rest assured, this will greatly benefit Liberty as a whole.
Thank you for your time.
Regards,
Deputy Chief Karl Agathon.
Iâll carry this flag
To the grave if I must
Because itâs flag that I love
And a flag that I trust
