The Red Hessians are a loosely grouped organization of Rheinland workers and miners who have fallen on hard times and taken to a life of rebellion and piracy. They constantly struggle to carve out their own realm against the gluttonous Rheinland corporations; As it stands, the current Rheinland government is weak to the point of being under the near-total control of the massive corporations Daumann, Kruger, and Republican Shipping.
While the typical Red Hessian is reviled as a pirate or brigand with nothing but personal gain in mind, the leaders of the Red Hessian Army (RHA) have not lost sight of their goals: resisting the corporate oppression of Daumann and Kruger, implementing their views on society and government, becoming a recognized nation to challenge both the encroaching Corsairs and ever-oppressive Rheinland.

We are, not surprisingly, aligned with the Red Hessian NPC faction. Every character must be Hessian tagged and carry a Red Hessian ID.
[RHA] is our faction symbol. All character names, ship names, or callsigns must follow the pattern of [RHA]xxxx
where "xxxx" is the pilot name, ship name, or call sign.
We are an unlawful faction in conflict with the Rheinland police, Rheinland military, and major Rheinland corporations. We are also in conflict with the Corsairs in the nearby Omega systems.
Our significant allies include the Bundschuh in Frankfurt and the Corsair-hating Outcasts; obviously we’re on the Outcast side of their war. We trade heavily with and play nicely with all Junkers and with the IMG at their nearby Freistadt base in Omega-7.
[color=#222222]Goals and Operations
Engaging our enemies' fighting ships is not a goal unto itself! The Red Hessian Army cannot fuel its ships, feed its soldiers, or aid the impoverished and downtrodden Rheinlander without resources that go beyond kill tallies under cockpits. All RHA personnel are directed to engage the enemy with the following goals in mind. Remember, ships and pilots are no help to our cause if they've become so much Junkers scrap and frozen meat. Make your efforts and sacrifices count!
• Do as much damage as possible to the diamond industry in Dresden and Omega-7. Daumann is weak in Dresden and every opportunity to raid their shipping and destroy their infrastructure should be taken. With enough pressure we can push Daumann out of Dresden entirely.
• Disrupt Repulican Shipping at every opportunity. Trade is the life blood of an empire, let's cut that artery.
• Map the contents of the Omega systems within one or two jumps of Red Hessian bases. Knowing every cloud of gas, chunk of ice, and ribbon of scrap metal around us is paramount to our efforts.
• Confront and clear any Corsair intruders in Omega-7, 11, and 5. These systems are the core of our Omega efforts and every attempt should be made to keep them secure.
• Confront and clear any Unioners from systems within Rheinland or Omega space. These traitorous friends of the Corsairs cannot be allowed to expand their sphere of influence.
• Harass the Rheinland Military and Police forces when possible. Pitched battles are not our goal; focus on irritation, distraction, and the draining of resources from these groups.

The Red Hessian Army demands that its members operate in an RP manner when in public places and using public communications. We will not tolerate out of character system chat in game, out of character posting in roleplay-designated forums, or out of RP behavior in game. We are revolutionaries with some very obvious and ever-present enemies close to home, so operate in a manner which reflects this situation.
On Membership
• Read the Server Rules.
• Read them again.
• Read the Red Hessian Army Information Site. Yes, all of it.;)
• Ask yourself the following questions: --> Am I willing to play the role of an idealistic revolutionary with very specific enemies and friends? --> Will I to choose a character name, ship name, or callsign that fits [RHA] roleplay? --> Will I volunteer to pilot a Fighter, Raider, or Bomber if my faction has too many capital ships logged in? --> Can I tolerate piloting spacecraft that are not the absolute best in Sirius?
• If you answered “no” to any of those questions, RHA is not for you.
• Your first character must pilot a Fighter or Raider class ship from the approved ship list.
• Additional characters piloting different classes of ships are allowed and encouraged, but: --> You must request capital ships through proper channels for approval! --> You must have any captured Rheinland equipment approved in advance!

- Include any RP information about your character.

Once approved, make your character(s) and we’ll help you get Tagged and ID’d as quickly as possible.

The RHA looks incredibly well thought-out, and I have always wanted to be a Hessian. Plus, I want to help defend Rheinland From the Corsair invasion. Finally, Rheinland is my favorite system to be in, and I would be absolutely fine never leaving.

My reason for joining the RHA:
I have been wanting to fly as a Outcast/Outcast aligned player for awhile now and the Hessians were one of the factions that were the most appealing to me (Due to their Rheinland origins) I saw this faction and noticed it is very well thought out (as said several times already) and the RP on it is incredible so far.
EDIT (To add some backstory for my proposed RHA character)
Michel Faber was a typical Rheinlander. Working for every last credit he could get his hands on to make his life better. Michel held a job as a crewman aboard a Kruger trading vessel loading and unloading the vessel when it landed at destination ports. One day upon landing on New Berlin to pick up some supplies for a Kruger base one of the Kruger executives came aboard the ship. This executive began harassing the workers who were working far too slow by his perception, even going as far as slapping one of the workers across the face. "Typical corporate treachery." Michel Faber thought to himself as he pulled his sidearm on the executive and shot him in the kneecap. The sidearms were issued to all crew members on Kruger transports in order to thwart any pirate boarding, and thus the firearms were significantly violent as they were designed to kill boarders, and not injure them. The executives lower left leg was blown off from the kneecap and below. He dropped to the ground and began writhing in pain. The executives bodyguards who had been occupied on the other side of the bay came running with their assault rifles at the ready. Knowing he was in a grave deal of trouble Michel spotted one of the escort fighters outside the ship, a Valkyrie. He aimed his sidearm at the unprepared pilot and demanded the ignition codes and lifted off in the ship and blew out of New Berlin orbit as quickly as he could. Now to find a new home.
