[font=Times New Roman]A cube was floating in Tau-44 space, a countdown as clearly seen on its smooth surface. When its counter reached zero seconds, it began transmitting the following text:
[font=agency fb][color=orange]"Dear ex-colleagues. Well, to those who care anyway. My name is James Scythe.
Yes, I'm saying ex-colleagues because I'm leaving the Republic... Hopefully just for the time being. I'm sure you've heard about a man called Richard Lampkin and his agenda. Well, in short, he first got me thinking and his agenda persuaded me to join him.
Now, I know most of you will think of that as a treason. Not me though. Please understand I'm doing this because I care for the Republic. I care about its ways, its people, its organisation even. I'm doing this because I love the Republic. I'm doing this because I think certain people have been mistreated. Pushed aside even. And for what? For gain of the few... For their power, I really don't know how to picture this differently.
It is with these reasons I'm ending this transmission. They're short and not many, I know, and I'm sure some questions will be asked... But those amongst you who know me know I'm not a man of many words.
So. I'll see you in space. Hopefully in better, fairer times, should our agenda succeed.
Good bye."
