Not to be an ass (though it is my preferred style,) but, first, you get points for spelling Hiigara correctly. Secondly, not a badly written story, nicely composed. But, unless I've missed my guess, no.
That may just be my inate hatred of random factions, though. >_>

missed your guess no..? No to what? im afraid i dont follow correctly, and thx for the complaments
I'll go into it more in depth if I happen to see you in game tomorrow (yes, I'm back, bahahaah *Cough, hack, wheeze*), but in basic, as bp said, it doesn't really work in the sense of Disco, unless I've missed too many recent plot twists.
Heh i dont think any amount of plot twists could make this heavly Disco related, i see you point now, perhaps if i changed the ending round a bit. And made it to where the 'ghosts' were actually just brought back to mortal life, upon the activation of the relic.
And made them more involved with the Red Hessian as a faction, like give em a slight back ground with the RH, would that appease the community?
Ok, ive made up a improved version of the old RP story based on suggestions by the other two people and ive made it so that the 'Ghosts of Hiigara' are not actuall ghosts but people, and ive changed the ending to suit a more Disco friendly enviroment.
** i have updated it on the First post of this thread, its now the current story that has more within the relms of Disco, per request
Yeah, that's a bit better, but the names seem out of place for aliens. 'Robroy'?
I guess it's just a bit far-fecthed in terms of Disco's continuity... soon ghosts and aliens will become run-of-the-mill... but that is merely my own, personal opinion.
Ya i agree bout the names, but they are names of the actual members in my faction currently, my friends who started the faction with me, and they are not aliens, but actual humans
The term ghost is used loosely, its meant to symbolize the rememberance of their land Hiigara. Like they are pages in a book telling a tale of a story long passed, but the ghost thing can be changed if need be, but its currently the faction tag, if you think it will be more fitting i can change it however
I also wanted something that was a little 'far fetched' because i didnt want to do the run of the mill i was a angry farmer who decided to join the pirates cuz the lawfulls were too mean. Or my family died and its a lawfull factions fault so now im out for revenge. Or i was captured ya da de da da. You get the point i assume? i wanted a unique story
You can be unique without abandoning Disco's flavour. Freelancer's politics are all about angry farmers and the like. These are issues grounded in reality, which are actually very interesting since there are no 'good guys', just varying degrees of 'bad'.
The problem with your far-fetched idea is that it won't stay far-fetched. Things like this are getting very common. Everyone wants to have magical artifacts or superpowers which aren't really fitting with Freelancer. (Although there is one psychic in the singleplayer...)
I'm personally of the opinion that it pushes the 'unique' side too far, and may break immersion.
For uniqueness whilst sticking to Disco flavour; see the likes of QCP(yes, plugging my own faction...) for instance... or the TAZ.
On the names; it is best for most factions to have a uniform style, with good reasons to break from it. Random names like that are rather out of roleplay in my opinion. RM are good at this, and so are KNF.

Perhaps, but i am not after 'superpowers' or 'magical artifacts', its just merely a story that i think is rather creative and i can see it within the relm of possibilites, besides, their 'relic' was left with the RM when they were being transferred to Stuttgrat.
Like i said, im not lookin to make some all powerfull faction with game breaking items, but a faction with a rather intresting back ground. Besides, in a normal Sirius setting the Nomads seem to come outta no where and have nothing really to do with a normal everyday life in the rest of the system. They just make the SP game very intresting.
