Greetings Spa and Cruise. My name is Adam Spire and I am a freelancer with a lawful reputable status in all major systems. I have found that more than often I find my two cargo ship busy with hauling minerals and goods to be diverted to Search and Rescue operations in House systems and abroad but at the same time I was not fully aware of the policy of the Spa and Cruise company. My only understanding of them stems from the few luxury liners I have seen transporting VIPs and tourists to and from house systems and even to that Kusari Technology retreat that has been going on.
My request is to invest in one of your Enterprise class Cruise liners for the main purpose of transporting refugees to safe havens as well as performing search and rescue missions. This ship will not be used in overt or covert combat missions nor will it be used to transport slaves or prisoners of any kind. In addition I would like to return 30% of the profits made in any mission back to Spa and Cruise, given the proper channel.
I will also search for a Captain whom I have in mind, with a proper Spa and Cruise ID who will adhere to Spa and Cruise regulations.
What say you?

From: OSC luxury liner Crying Lightning
ID: captain John Frial
Format: Text
Greetings. My name is John Frial, I am merely a captain of one of OSC liners. However, with rather large sum resting in my ship's reserve fund and having rights to use it at my discretion, I think I can act as company's representative in this situation.
While moving refugees is not our primary business, we sometimes take up on this job if we are contracted to. After all, when it concerns transportation of human cargo, no-one in Sirius is more suited for the job.
There are a few things I'd like to know about you and your plans.
First, what is and will be your current and planned area of operation and routes of evacuation? There are certain areas where OSC vessels should not make an appearance, at least not on regular basis and without proper escort. Even for humanitarian reasons.
Second, what is (are) your current vessel(s)?
Third, are you sure a luxury liner is the best suitable ship for this venue? While interior of Enterprise can be modified quite easily to suit the requirements of different tasks, its primary purpose is to be a rather luxurious mean of transportation. Perhaps one of rebuilt decommissioned vessels more widely known as Prison Liner is more suitable? Name is deceptive, these can be very fine liners once the bars and such are removed. Although slightly smaller in terms of capacity than Enterprise, it sports just as much hull integrity and almost as much firepower. And if you happen to venture into inhospitable regions and scratch some paintwork, repairs come a lot cheaper. Consider this.
Fourth, what is your experience and attitude towards security services? Namely, are you willing to sacrifice some bit of your profit by hiring an escort (if available) to increase the safety of your passengers?
Well, that is all for now. I'm looking forward to hearing more from you in near future.

Captain John Frial, thank you for your prompt response. All your inquiries are quite valid and I am prepared to answer them.
First: current and planned area of operation and routes of evacuation:
In one word, Freeports. The biggest need that I can think of at the moment is the slow evacuation of Leeds. Locals have told me that they are transporting civilians and their families there to be reassigned to more neutral locations away from the now front lines. As to areas of operation, that would be any and all House space that is not regulated to prevent access to ships of that type and mission.
I do from time to time see reports of Search and Rescue missions out in the Omega sectors as well as the Tau systems and know that they are at times traps laid for unsuspecting ships. I will honestly have to way the risks involved before endeavoring in missions of that particular caliber.
Second: What are my current vessels?
All four ships under my direct 'command' for a lack of a better term, are:
*A border worlds light fighter Freelancer who serves as a scout and support fighter.
*A civilian Bomber I call in to take out larger pirate transports and impose its fire power when my fighter wont do
*My Civilian Wasupu Fighter I use to defend transports and house friendly ships
*A Kusari Exploration Gun boat I call in when all else fails.
I would ask that in this unsecure transmission that I would not transmit the names or exact loadouts of the crafts to protect the security of their missions and those who fly it. Suffice to say, they are all lawful pilots, even with the exception of one who tends to mouth off at any authority figure, but he's under control.
Third: Am I sure a luxury liner is the best suitable ship for this venue?
Yes. I reviewed the specs on the Slave liner and the biggest blow is the lower cargo space. Also, the Slave liner has a very poor reputation as being just that, a Slave liner. I don't know what a family would think, seeing a ship like that being their means of salvation from a war ravaged environment. Don't worry about the costs, we can handle that. I do intend to keep 30% of the interior space for the transportation of VIPs and others who would demand such accommodations.
Fourth, what is my experience and attitude towards security services?
Enough to know that I would hire a security ship in a heartbeat. I used to fly a Civi bomber back when I was working for Planetform, helping transports to and from their destinations. I was surprised to see how brazen a pirate was in attacking a convoy of transports yet held back long enough while I was guarding just one.
Several transport missions I've seen planned out and with escorts. So if available, I would hire one or two. Again, this cruise ship is mainly for Search and Rescue, keeping profit a lower second priority.
I hope this answer's your questions.

Mr. Spire,
Allow me to begin by introducing myself, I am Captain Quantum Psychosis, Meld, of the Commercial Liner Greycliffe. Though I, too, am only a Liner captain and cannot represent Orbital Spa and Cruise in any official capacity, I would like to add my two cents worth, so to speak.
The movement of refugees from Leeds is wholeheartedly supported by myself and I am quite certain the OSC Board would approve the use of one of their older Liners retrofitted for this purpose. To that end, unless the official head of Spa and Cruise says otherwise, or unless Captain Frial disagrees, you have my full backing to fund the purchase of an Enterprise-class Luxury Liner.
Now, even I must be cautious, for Slavers are a rather deceitful bunch. To this end, I would ask that you submit the exact callsign of your Liner here so that I, and anyone else within Spa and Cruise, may keep an eye on your activities.
Other than that, may I simply say that you have chosen to participate in an excellent endeavor and I wish you all the best of luck!

Thank you, Mr. Spire, for you swift response on my inquiries. You have assured me that you can be trusted with one of our Enterprise vessels.
I agree with Captain Quantum Psychosis, we would like the callsign of the vessel to be known to OSC. Not that we don't trust you, simply it would aid greatly if the vessel goes missing and search and rescue operation has to be organized.
So you have my full backing and I'm ready to invest any necessary financial resources to help you get this project going. Please state your exact needs and we can work on from that.

Captain Quantum Psychosis, unfortunately your concern rings true as I have defended transports from Cruise liners attacking them in the past. The Cruise liner can be deceptively friendly and used for quite the opposite reasons they were intended for. Therefore I give you the ships name, OSC-Perth-Rescue, named after an old Sol Earth rescue ocean ship from second World War which in its career saved over 455 people. The Perth Rescue will hopefully live up to the name.
You can keep in contact with me on this channel and when the ship is comissioned, I will post the name of its Captain and ask him to give reports of the Perth-Rescue's missions. Thank you all again for your time.

ID: Cpt. Ian Curtis, CEO of Greyhound Passenger Transportation, Orbital Spa & Cruise
ENCRYPTION: HIGH
TO: OS&C and Adam Spire
Dear Mr. Spire,
My name is Ian Curtis, son of Lord William Curtis, I am CEO of Greyhound Passenger Transportation, an Orbital Spa & Cruise subsidiary owned by mi family, House of Curtis, of Planet Leeds. I am writing to you because you proposal here involves our interests quite a lot, and we want to ask you some things.
Since the vile attack from the Kusarians to our noble Kingdom, more precisely, our beloved Leeds system, House of Curtis has been taking refugees from the Bretonian lawful civil bases, such as Planet Leeds, to other nearby space, such as Planet Curacao in the Cortez system. Now, hearing that you will help to save so many families makes us really happy.
What makes us feel uneasy about all this is the destination you will be choosing for these refugees. I hear here you are planning to take these families to different Freeports. There is something that must made clear about this. This bretonians have suffered the horrors of war from the hand of Kusari, so if you are planning to move these people to Freeport 10 or Freeport 6, we must tell you that we are opposed to such transportation. These bases are even nearer from Kusari than Planet Leeds, so taking refugees there would not be a viable option. That is, in spite of whatever guarantees the Zoners can give.
If you plan to take the refugees to any other Freeport, I give you my best wishes in this, as the other OS&C captains already did. I hope I hear soon from you Mr. Spire.
Having done a bit more research and here are some Freeport reports:
Freeport 1 Omega-3 ' relatively close and minimal corsair and pirate forces make this a deportation option Freeport 4 Magellan ' So long as there are no pirates floating around and I have minimal fighter cover, we can make it there fine. Freeport 14 Yukon - This would be a last resort port of harbor as it is rather far out and has been known to have varius criminal activty around the system
Freeport 5 in Omega-41 ' With increasing SCRA activity and being on Corsair fronts this is not a port of harbor for refugees. Freeport 6 in Tau-29 'Too close to Kusari Space. I don't want to run the risks of some of these refugees becomes accidental POWs Freeport 9 Omicron Theta - Too far out and reports of nearby space being a constant place of battle Freeport 10 Tau-37 - With the IMG and Outcasts consistently butting heads, I don't want to risk the occasional enemy encounter or IMG skirmish Freeport 11 Omicron Delta ' Pretty much the same reasons as Freeport 9
Don't worry, Freeports are not the only options around. I will get in contact with more in system local governments in Britionia to make sure that the economies and facilities will allow an influx of evacuating civilians without damaging the local economies.
I am reviewing three former transport Captains and should have a name within the next few hours.
