We know the LPI; they fight crime, levy fines, engage terrorists, levy fines, capture smugglers, and levy fines. We also know of their methods to generate income, though many remain unproven, we are aware of them.
And now most of us Libertonians are aware of one of the highest fines ever. A Zoner that goes by the name of Yo-Man was fined 75 million credits -read it again if you want, it is indeed 75 million- for 'hacking' into a transmission not addressed to him.
That's it readers, what was the LPI thinking when they decided to levy such fine? No one knows because of course, they haven't made any public announcement, and probably they won't, now that they are on trial.
This is a fact
This magazine knew of this incident after Yo-Man issued a house-wide transmission via the public channel, where he denounced the fine, and asked for the opinion of anyone in range, which of course was seen as an opportunity for many to cause a heated discussion, and ended in the republic of 'Liberty' agreeing to grant a 'fair' trial to Yo-Man.
The LPI said, in their words on the public channel, that a trial was not considered from the start, because his offence was something considered 'along the lines of a parking ticket', 75 millions is nothing but a ticket. Of course to ensure that he pays they made clear that not paying would be considered evasion of law and he would become a wanted criminal.
How much is 75 million credits? Most of us will rarely get to see such amounts of money, but for the trade pilots and of course LPI officers out there with a pilot's license 75 million is not far. So what could you get with 75 million credits, for us who can't afford a pilot education and are forced to the chains of gravity? With those spare credits you could get'¦
7 Liberator fighters, one for each day of the week
5 Grizzlies, enough to start your own shipping company
2 mammoths, add them to the trade fleet. And you have one escort for each ship.
1 Hegemon, now you can even mine.
And still have over 10 million credits for your own corporate HQ, and a blonde or two.
And let's compare it with the prices of several vessels usually seen in Liberty'¦
One Liberty gunboat has a price of 38 million credits.
A fully equipped navy fighter costs a less than 30 million credits.
One luxury yacht, those usually restricted to the capitalist elite, costs 72 million credits.
But of course, this man just got a ticket. A ticket worth a luxury yacht, or a shipping company, or a few mansions in a private island at California; perhaps that's what the LPI high ranked are aiming for? Draining a Zoner from its money for their personal gain? Abusing of their powers to enforce and fine?

Xposed got it's hands on what the Nomad Society, believes is the best piece of evidence that aliens are amongst us...
But wait. We already knew that, actually we even fought them and kicked their blue butts 17 years ago!
Well what is so surprising for the society is that for a few years now, they have been spotting UFOs in the skies of manhattan, and they say they have acquired a piece that can't be said is fake.
This is the said eveidence
The Nomad Society is a group of people who spend their free time trying to find nomads, and some sources claim they are even trying to interact with them, and no, not only women. *wink-wink*
Here at Xposed we don't judge people or societies, no matter what their wacky beliefs are, and NS is no exception, so we got to the task of finding experts and submitting this piece of evidence to them
"Well it's no surprise that the image is blurry, as most of these pieces of evidence are. What we have here is known as atmospheric ionization, similar to the Aurora Borealis. The excessive residues from used H-fuel been thrown at the atmosphere, cause the air around it to ionize and create this lightning effect, this picture, due to it's angle must have been taken on a magnetic train, and in movement, as a result the image is blurry; if it wasn't so blurry, it would be clear that this supposed nomad would be nothing more than a small burst of ionized gas" Said Dr.Gutenberg of the Manhattan Research Institute
"What we have here, is clear evidence, not of an alien, but of atmosphere contamination caused by starships which use H fuel as their primary energy source. As Dr Gutenberg stated, the air filled with burnt H fuel ionizes, this due to the properties of the H fuel. We have also seen an increase on these phenomena, which indicate the atmosphere is being saturated with it more and more" Said Sarah Anderson, of the MRI
"Ionized gas. That's what it is. When H fuel ionizes it is known to acquire some sort of electromagnetic properties, which tend to mass up all the surrounding gas, giving it it's shape and tones, basically a plasma ball. Usually ionized air in Manhattan is green, however the tones can vary due to the time of the day, light effects and conditions and many other factors, certainly not the usual "ion ball" but certainly not an alien either" Said Andrew Fuchs, of the MRI.
However, the people at NS keep their positions on what they saw, specially the one who took the picture, who happens to be a member of the group.
"Ionized gas spreads across the sky, it doesn't get all crammed in one site, and yes the train was moving and the picture is blurry, but I saw what I saw, and I know this is a nomad" Said Harry Nerdingson, the one who took the picture, member of NS.
"Ionized gas is green to begin with, in this picture you can see different tones of blue and white, and an unusual shape, certainly it is not ionized gas" Peter McLovin, member of the NS.
"What we have here is the evidence that the nomads are finally readying to get in contact with humans, if this happens, the conflicts between humans will end and we will enter an age of prosperity and mutual race agreement. It's clear to us" Said Anna Thompson of the NS
We know the liberty authorities tend to hide any sort of information regarding nomads, and any research regarding them, this could be evidence that maybe nomads are already on the hands of government labs, or even victims of genetic manipulation. On the other hand the picture is extremely blurry, and the argument from the scientists is quite strong, we could be entering a new age indeed, an age where we have to live in bubbles or clean rooms, and walk around Manhattan wearing spacesuits.
