Senor, recently the council has sensed that the Zoner group called the omicroners has been more aggressive in their attitude towards the Corsairs. On the other hand, you have been the only one that seems intent on resolving the current conflicts between the Corsairs and Zoners in a peacefull, more Zoner like way.
It is for that reason that the council now comes to you, and to you alone. As the governing individual of Freeport 9, the Corsair Council will support you to command it, and the space around it. We however want the omicroners to have minimum say in the matter, if any at all. In fact, we are currently debating whether a lesson in military power is to be taught to these Zoners that think they can take on the empire. Yet, we do not want Freeport 9 to be caught in the collateral damage.
You may wonder what the support we talk about is. Well senor, military for one, and we will make sure that the relationship between the council and you stay on good terms. We offer you to spend some time with us directly in the Council chamber , to voice your concerns for your people and your plan to ensure that the governance of theta by you will not jeopardise our home systems security. We will also provide you with financial aid to repair Freeport 9, if any repairs are still needed.
We do not see a war with the Zoners as beneficial for you, yet we cannot allow these omicroners to openly challenge and disrespect our Empire. We perceive the omicroners as the current problem that needs to be solved, not the Zoner people. Our mutual relations were not always perfect, but lately it has been very poor, and we perceive this as irritation rather than a problem needing real military action.. And we blame most of this on the shoulders of the omicroners and their persistent warmongering and disrespectful attitude towards a nation that thrives on conflict and war.
Since the omicroners are clearly on very good terms with the outcasts, we hereby place you in front of a decision.
We hope we can put our trust in you with confidence, that you will not talk about this offer with any third party. At least not for now. Time and discretion are off the utmost importance here senor, as our assets are already being put into place.
The Elders await your reply senor Silvan.

Corsair LawsCorsair Court Our forces combined, no-one shall stand before us. Our enemies shall be burnt and cast to the wind, our troops marching forward over their mangled corpses. True we stand alone, with wolves circling, but our isolation lends us our strength, for we are one and they are divided.
The days of Darkness are no longer, for we are the Corsairs and we are fear incarnate! Viva los Corsairs, the Empire shall rise!
The blood of the Hispania runs in our veins. The blood of our enemies shall wet our hands.
Elders, I am glad for your support, and for your understanding that not all Zoners wish conflict with Your people, or any other people for that matter. I would be happy to meet with you in the Council Chambers and discuss future relations and other issues at hand.
Your confidence is well placed, and as you request, I will not speak of this to any other party until such time as it is deemed prudent by both of us.
I will be leaving for Crete shortly, and should arrive soon. I look forward to meeting you all in person and sincerely hope we can find an appropriate resolution to this conflict.
My apologies Elders, but it seems it will take me a touch longer to arrive than initially thought. It seems that my last trip through the radiation of Omega 41 has damaged my drive systems, and I will require 1 day to repair it. Thank you for understanding in this matter.
I ask only that any further actions be delayed one more day, if possible. If not I know you will try to keep any collateral damage to a Minimum. That i appreciate.
Elders, You will be pleased to know that due to some crafty engineers aboard Freeport Nine, My vessel has been repaired quicker than expected. If you will still have me come to Crete to meet with you in person, I am ready to depart at once.
In such a case, all I will need is some directions to the Council Chambers, as I have never had a reason to tread within those walls and therefore do not know how to get there.
Don't worry about getting lost on Crete. Even though it's quite easy to happen, you would have your own guide waiting for you at the docking bay. He will take you to us. Brace yourself though, it might take some time. And we would advise you not to take any sharp or metallic items with you. Surely you wouldn't want to submit to a full body inspection on the way here. It happened to some of us, and it's nothing nice, we assure you.
Until then.

Elders, I have arrived on Crete and only await the arrival of your guide.
On a pleasant note, On approach to Crete i was met and greeted by a brotherhood pilot, Tuco. We had a lovely conversation, which ended with my offering to submit to a ship scan if he wished it, and him informing me that I was marked as a trusted friend of the Corsairs. That is wonderful to hear.
I await your guide eagerly, and look forward to meeting you all in your chambers. And I was very careful to leave any sharp or metallic items aboard my ship.
