Good afternoon, Colonial leadership. I am lieutenant colonel Jayce Brooks, Provost Marshal of the Coalition. After the combat we endured as a group, and our close ties to other IMG splinter groups, I believe that our factional ties are stronger than ever before. With our groups as close as they are, I believe that an exchange of technologies could no nothing but good for our prospective gains. Though the IND has portrayed you as backstabbers, the Coalition firmly believes your are still our allies. To ensure this, we has a small request. As most of our Storm-class Gunships are busy patrolling our inner sectors, an extremely fuel-efficient vessel with long-range scanning capabilities is required. After sufficient research, your Spatial-class vessel has been selected as the best option for our needs. It's hardy frame, heavy armament, and it's six long-burn Ageira engines are perfectly suited to our more... clandestine activities. The construction fees would be paid for by the Coalition. I sincerely hope that this will help to bring our factions closer together, and tighter our joint operations. As another incentive, any data retrieved that is not deemed absolutely secret by the commissariat will be open for your investigation.
For the Revolution, for the Red Dawn, for the Premier!
You praise Spatials as if they were some Wunderwaffe. Trust me, they are -not- as good as you think. Part of the reason might be the fact, that we don't see them used by any self-respecting miners for combat purposes, but I'm not here to pass judgement...
We do have a considerable number of those ships stored. It's a result of a woefully failed attempt at employing them as specialized gunboat hunters. As a result, only ONE is in what passes for spaceworthiness... Other than you seeing the obvious disatvantages of this type of craft, I can't see any reasons why you should be denied. Knock yourself out, comrade. The ship's all yours.
