Jacques Grollet, Corse.
Captain of L'Aimable, Transport.
Madam, or Sir,
It is my hope this communique reaches you in better condition than I may be by this time. My ship, the L'Aimable was threatened first with bankruptcy, then with destruction by a pilot of the Gallic Royal Navy.
Sous Lieutenant Franck Valbuena observed Military Vehicles in my cargo during a scan and immediately demanded I jettison the vehicles into the void of space. Ordinarily I would have complied without hesitation, but this cargo was destined for the Battleship Carcassonne in Languedoc, where the vehicles serve in the war effort.
Faced with conflicting demands by an officer of the Gallic Royal Navy and the GRN stamps on my cargo, I attempted to find a compromise. At first I asked the officer to escort my ship to the Carcassonne, but he was unwilling or unable and merely repeated his demand. I pressed the issue and he scoffed at me. He refused to believe that I could even dock on a Gallic Royal Navy battleship, and so the L'Aimable moved to, and docked with, the Battleship Beuvrey.
I, Jacques Grollet, Captain of L'Aimable, took this measure to ensure the safety of cargo from a pilot I witnessed destroy a transport before my very eyes mere moments prior to his demands of myself and my crew.
This message is released just as my ship lands on the Beuvrey. We offer ourselves to your justice, that you may know us as true patriots.
