All right, it seem like there's a couple of people who might be interested in roleplaying the LPI. This will be an unofficial squadron of police pilots following the same rules as the NPC faction. If you want to join our cause, feel free to post here!
Name: Liberty Police, Inc.
ID: Liberty Police ID
Tag: Liberty Police, Inc.
Area of operations: New York except for Zone 21, Colorado, Texas, California
Objectives:
- scanning ships for illegal cargo,
- defending allied ships from outlaws,
- preventing and resolving all hostilities near allied bases, trade lanes and jump gates,
- enforcing the server rules in an RP manner,
- helping new players.
Rules:
- To do. This will concern how are we to punish people who break law, what the actual law is, our rules of engagement and so on. Suggestions are welcome.
Allies - Offer as much help as possible. Friendly - Be nice and friendly. Protect in most circumstances. All Liberty corporations should belong here. Neutral - No special attention. Suspicious - Be careful. Potential pirates, smugglers or militants. Protect them as long as they behave nicely. Not welcome - These factions are not welcome in Liberty. All ships should be escorted to the nearest jump gate out of Liberty space. Engage if they do not comply. Unlawful factions that are not openly hostile to Liberty belong here. Hostile - Kill on Sight. These are the enemies of Liberty and should not be allowed to escape. Only factions openly hostile to Liberty belong here.
* marks a militant faction whose presence in Liberty space should always be questioned. Only allow entry if they have a good reason to be here, otherwise treat them as not welcome. Military or Police escort throughout their stay in Liberty space is recommended.
I'm assuming this is all hypothetical, because if you check the pinned threads you'll find faction creation is on hold, and now requires Admin approval.

Yes, this is only a thread for giving critiques and suggestions.
Nothing official yet, ofc.

It is every Corsair's responsibility to die a beautiful death in defense of Crete, regardless of how OORP or how capwhoring the opposition is. Launch your fighter, joust the battlecruisers and die a beautiful death. Then, drink it down in the bar.
anyway - if you formulate the faction along with a working diplomacy with the current factions, i ll be in. something small scale like that is just what i like - doesn t need to be all about epic causes.:)
It's not really an official faction, we only want to create a small squadron to fly together and have fun shooting those damn pirates. I think that would be ok?
We should decide on what equipment and ships to use, if we are gonna fly same craft.
Also I think that it would be cool for most of the team to have Cargo scanners, while one person in group would use Deep scanner. Would add to roleplay.
And for names.. I suggest: [LPI]name
Other fancy tags like =LSF= -(Clan)- distracts me from the main message, the letters and [LPI] seems basic enough.
with the drama around right now, we have to be sure to be over lvl30, too. And a concept how to deal with the newbie that tries to attempt to get used to roleplay, aswell as how to deal with the newbie that just wants to cause trouble. when its about higher level fighters ( VHFs etc ) - well, thats what the navy is for.
