Gunther, darlin'. I'll let the one responsible to talk with ya about it.
*Another woman appears and nods*
Greetings, Major Hoerst.
I'm Titanium, and since i am the one that is dealing with this particular problem,
i requested Silver here to contact you.
And since i am known not to go around the question...
*Lights up a cigar and looks at the camera*
The Liberty Navy wants intel on your Ragnarok Cannon.
And i mean everything that is possible to get.
And since we enjoy and treasure our business with the Red Hessian Army,
we decided to come clean, and if possible, to work together to arrange a solution.
My idea was to provide dummy data, fabricated by the Red Hessian Army.
There are a number of problems with that, but i believe it can be worked upon.
What say you?
Titanium.
[8:32:45 PM] Dusty Lens: Oh no, let me get that. Hello? Oh it's my grandma. She says to be roleplay.
[12:12:00] Traxit: this is smut stop
The "Red Hessian engineer who sold you this data" claimed this light fighter weapon project was critically damaged a few weeks ago due to a computer mainframe failure. Most of the research data was lost, and the project relying upon it was mothballed. So einfach ist das. If they want to know more, tell them unreliable hardware has been plaguing the Red Hessian movement for years, and the majority of our network is completely unusable due to strong radiation in the Omega systems.
This should be enough to allow you to maintain your employment within Liberty, and perhaps earn some of their trust. Should you choose to maintain your employment with them that is.
Keep up the fine work, the Red Hessian movement has much money to spare for the likes of you.
"The Red Hessian Battleship Forward Gun, known as 'Ragnarok'." *The cigar suddenly flares and a small puff of smoke is exhaled*
Now, as you can imagine, that means they already have eyes on the subject. Probably some footage of one of your battleships in action in the Omegas or Omicrons. Very likely due to the whole corsair/zoner situation that occurred.
*The cigar flares again*
What is needed here.. is some kind of failed development. Truthful, but a dead end.
I am certain you have that. No one figures out the right recipe at the first try. Then all it requires is some.. creative additions to make it more viable and feasible.
*The cigar flares again*
Then, comparing both the original and the fake one to fine tune it, and the Navy will loose years and money trying to develop a dead end.
Insuring that their noses are out of your business.
And happy with ours.

Throw them this. This schematic is one of our older designs, it's quite implausible and well... this was long before we got our hands on that tech from Liberty and elsewhere. A few defecting engineers here, a few parts there and the schematic suddenly became workable. Of course, this isn't the fixed version. Our Bretonian "friends" saw the shape in all its glory already anyway, so here you are:
