Ok......I tried doing easier missions....
And even doing level 10 missions (I'm lvl 15) were hard...
In the end I gave up doing missions and just went with the 'run around until you find a patrol' way of doing it.....Then selling the salvaged loot....
I was taking on lvl 8 pilots in the end. But that seemed to do the trick.
I'm now about to start a mission.....but now real life has interrupted my day

Go to My Games folder in My documents, go to freelancer you will see a config settings named PerfOptions go into it. Go down to almost the bottum and you will see DIFFICULTY SCALE: 1.00 change that to 2.00.
Also while checking all this I found that mine is set at 2.00 which might explain some of the differences in difficulty I have been having in Sp campiagn... Oh well
I may well put it in God Mode until I complete the SP campaign. I simply can't do anything now.
Once I am free of the limitations of levelling and cash I will turn it off.
PLEASE NOTE....This is ONLY for the single player stuff.
I will NOT leave it like that if I play on the server...
Actually I really don't think it would work anyway.
Preferance options like difficulty has no effect on servers. So you don't have a problem there. I find god mode useful for testing systems after they are created.
Well.......I finally finished the SP campaign and I'm now freely flying around the place.
I have to say that making the Anubis cost 245k (Or whatever it was) made it VERY VERY difficult. Killing the nomads was a long drawn out affair, and if it wasn't for the fact that I was playing in God mode I really doubt I would have been able to do anything AT ALL in those last few missions.
I agree. The anubis was supposed to be 2450 I think. We need to reduce the price down back to normal, then make a second anubis that is like one level higher worth325,000, so as to preserve the SP campaign.
