This is Trueno reporting. As all of you know I haven't returned to Crete yet, with good reasons. Our spols had to be sorted out'¦and also I wanted to wait for the Omegas to cool down a bit, in case we stirred up too much attention. Our booty is safely onboard of the Kerberos, watched around the clock by our dutiful house marines. I took the freedom to bring our wounded to a separate medical station which is watched too'¦so no bumbling freelancer can get a word out of anyone.
Now, on to the report:
As all of you know the Kerberos could dock on Meerbusch basethanks to the fighter wings cover fire. We surprised them as intended. The turretfire of the Kerberos was able to tear apart the first security sheet, from then on the boarding troops were on their own. I personally led the first unit into combat, if you want to call it like that- we found them pants down and easily pushed to the laboratories in the eastern wing. We suffered 3 losses and 5 wounded soldiers there. In the research section we tried to take in everything that was movable excluding anything that looked like pure'¦alien stuff'¦we burned down everything we couldn't carry.
In the meantime my hermano Tazo pushed on with the explosives. As you know I failed in acquiring a true full blown warhead, my deepest apologies for that. Anyways my hermano tried to depot all explosives to cause maximum structural damage, but in his case the resistance was more organized, they holed in in security checkpoints. Until our heavy combatants arrived in their exo-suits he lost 15 proud Corsairs and tallied 6 wounded.
As we were fighting our way back to the Kerberos I was glad we could capture all this military equipment'¦madre mio, those Wilde can put up a fight! They act almost like unified minds! As they had probably figured out our plans, they accidentally set off some of our explosives and also cut us off from our retreat point. We had to circumvent their defensive positions and suffered more losses, six families will weep and 5 more have to wait for their children's return.
Of course we left none of our hermanos behind for the alien scum, all will receive an honorary burial as soon as we can return them to their families.
Totaled we lost 24 fine soldatos and 17 require intense medical attention.
We captured the following things:
1 holodisk database
20 holodiscs with , for now, impenetrable encryption
3 NeuralNet-research servers, again inaccessible to me
3 Crates of sorted and numbered technical building blocks, use to be determined
2 Crates of Labcoats, seems their researchers are average height and girth
1 fighter gun of Rheinlandish origin, it obviously has been modified and tampered with
10 Laboratory notepads, again encrypted
1 power generator for the captured gun
3 almost alienesque things in see through boxes
That is all.
Concerning the gift we left the Wilde: again I have to apologize for my lapses, no one saw Meerbusch base turning into a fireball, there were only few breaches of their stations hull. Either some of our devices didn't work as intended or the Wilde successfully deactivated some crucial ones. I promise my next assignment will be failure free, perdone familia.
Hermanos, I would like to return home soon, the soldatos are eager to return, too. I hope we can sneak in unseen but nonetheless I plead you to send me some escorts if possible. Also I am eager to hear about how the battle in Omega 55 concluded, I was too busy on my escape than to get the tallies, and here on Cadiz I didn't communicate with anyone.
