Salutations Premier of the Coalition, members of the government.
My name is Guild Master Takeshi Ogawa and I send you this message because an issue has arisen. A few hours ago, a major corsair force invaded the Cambridge system. In the report it was mentioned the possibility that this invasion was just a distraction and the corsairs were hastily building a base in that system. IMG as an entity who has also been continuously plagued by the vandalism of this organisation launched a small squad to assist the Bretonian Forces in repelling the invaders back to the Omegas.
However, soon after the fight started, Ben Warner, a well-known and awarded Coalition pilot entered the fight and surprisingly sided with the Corsairs. If it wasn't this individual, we would normally assume that it was a deserter who decided to help the invaders, however that is not the case. I would like to ask you if this was a mistake of the said pilot or there is actually a change in your relations with the Corsairs.
In the said situation our pilots didn't know what to do as they knew that the Guild maintains a steady and healthy friendship with the Coalition. Therefore I'd also like to ask what you propose the Guild and Coalition forces to do in case a similar situation arises in the future and avoid further implications.

"Mister Ogawa, It came to no shock that this was passed along to me, let me make one thing clear perfectly so that you can understand: I was not siding with the Corsairs.
I was focusing my fire upon the Bretonian Intelligence and Military Vessels that provided targets of opportunity, even one of those Corsair legates was firing Solaris Cannons at my ship.
So NEVER suggest I betrayed my Home, I made every attempt to steer clear of IMG Assets during that skirmish in an attempt to preserve our relations, the Corsairs provided a screen to strike at the Bretonian's dictatorial policies through the suppressing of it's Military and Intelligence Agency, there is no friendship between us, as far as I am aware we are still at war with the Corsairs, but as I was outnumbered I focused on damaging what Bretonian ships I was able to and getting out alive with my skin intact.
Once again I assure you that the Coalition's stance has not changed, you were merely witnessing a surgical strike against a known enemy of the Sirius Coalition. Nothing More, Nothing Less.
Mr Ben Warner, I never suggested that you betrayed the Coalition. However according to the IMG archives, it is the first time we have actually seen the Coalition working with the Corsairs against a common enemy. Therefore that was the reason why we sent this message as we have neither seen, nor expected such kind of tactic.
Reading the battle report, it seems your contribution to the fight was rather high as many Bretonians were lost but it also allowed several corsairs to escape back to the Omegas. With all due respect, wouldn't it be more beneficial for everyone's cause, if you sided with the Mollys in order to fight the Bretonian Navy?

"Indeed I would have if they were around, however it seems all their patrols were pre-occupied with other matters and they couldn't spare any ships, so I had to simply make do with the events unfolding before me and strike. Several Corsairs may have escaped, but I saw many others fall to the hands of the very Bretonians I was shooting at. Sufficed to say it's doubtful that Bretonia would try to push into the Omegas nor the Corsairs to launch another attack anytime soon without shifting more forces from other fronts.
Either way Guild Master, we both benefit from this, the Corsairs will not be attacking your Cambridge operations and the Bretonian Government will be too busy licking it's wounds to bother you for a small period of time. Have faith as I do, our greatest foes will be licking their wounds for awhile."
Thank you for your responces Mr Ben Warner, it is comforting to see that nothing has changed and our common goals are coming closer by each passing day.
Perhaps I should inform you that the Outcasts and their alien allies are growing bolder every day in the Upper Taus. If the Coalition finds itself in need of re-assessing the situation, please don't hesitate to ask for our assistance.

"It is no problem Guild Master. As for the Outcasts and the Alien Threat, we are aware of the threat, but a majority of our forces are undergoing a reconfiguration in preparation for a new campaign. A campaign that will hopefully inspire more to rise up against the Houses and bring about a new wave of Socialism that will benefit all those who struggle. Time will tell if the campaign is successful...Pray Comrade."
