I am devastated that I must report a stark decline within the business relations with our Kusari allies. As you are well aware, our expansion program in the Tau sector requires a lot of processed resources, some of them we acquire from the Kusari sector. However, a few days ago the Kusari State Police suddenly decided to enforce a paragraph of their ancient Kusari Legal Codex that denies all traffic of specific materials into the Tau sector for risk of losing war assets to Bretonia. Not realizing that the Tau sector no longer is a war front, but de jure and de facto demesne of his Majesty, they denied all Gallic vessels further economic exchange of these goods, listed in their Codex.
Our Director of External Commerce Richard Pinault has immediately contacted the Kusari Ministry of Commerce to find a solution for this dilemma, which has been met with an outrageously delayed answer with an even more outrageous counter-request. IDF Shipping feels it cannot accept these terms, as they would hinder the progress of the Gallic Kingdom in the Tau sector as well as our own war efforts against Bretonia drastically. Already this ridiculous embargo has cost our corporation millions of Francs, delaying various of our construction projects.
At this point I personally want to inquire the assistance of the Gallic government.
After this blatant insulting request on behalf of Kusari it becomes obvious that the angle of this interdiction is not a matter of trade negotiations, but a political agenda behind it. Not at last because this whole matter is a blatant disregard against legitimate Gallic territorial claims. Considering that you graciously granted hospitality and liberty of trade to Kusari Corporations in our Kingdom we feel it an outrage that Gallic Corporations are not repaid with the same welcoming policy. Instead, they deem it appropriate to exploit our national resources for their own benefit without shame like vile parasites.
With the utmost respect, Joseph Pomeroy, President of Ãle-de-France Shipping

You need not worry Monsieur Pomeroy, the Kusari government has already contacted my father's offices and explained the situation. It has been handled and you, along with all other Gallic corporations, are free to transport all war materials in and out of Kusari. It seems that the recent upheaval of their governmental institutions and figures hasn't yet healed itself. I hope to see them be acting as a singular body in the near future, this is but a growing pain.
If you encounter any further troubles, don't hesitate to contact myself or the Grande Marechal.
