Greetings, Admiral Hale,
I have absolutely no idea where this idea came from, but I've received a notice of assault from your units. So, I'd just like to ask you, with the entirety of Sirius watching, this question:
Why are you attacking a relief station for Bretonian refugees?
That is all.
Signed,
Jonathan Cook

Hale here.
We have recently removed a base from the Kansas system. That base was one operated by a group of outcasts. The name of the station was Inis-Mona. However that station was destroyed some half hour ago.
We do know of anotehr station in the system, which I can assume is the one you are refering to. It was found by Commander Virgil redline some hours previous to the siege of Inis-Mona, and is called Key Axial.
Not attack has been ordered on this base as yet, as the intention and purpose of it, as well as the base's ownership are as yet unknown.
However, your transmission will be forwarded to the Bretonian Admiralty to verfiy if your claims for it being a refugee stop-over point are corrent. If you are being a little less than honest with me, it might go badly for you. The Bretonian Admiralty will be granted full permission to reply in this channel.
I repeat, as yet no order has been issued to tamper or interfere with the station Key Axial.

Greetings, Admiral Hale,
I'm glad to see reason is still present. Still...
Point 1) There were units flying the tag of the Liberty Navy stating that we should, and I quote here, "prepare for a massive attack". If that's not hostility, I don't know what the hell is.
Point 2) You can talk with the Bretonian government all you want. This isn't an official operation. We're giving shelter to the people too poor to get themselves out through regular means. Call that an irregularity all you want, but we're doing a right thing here, and I think that's what matters.
Sincerely,
Jonathan Cook

Like I said, no order to intefere with operation at Key Axial has been placed. I would be extremely interested to see the communication logs of the situation you described in your previous transmission.
Also, it is worth noting that refugees do not have to pay a single penny to cross the border. They are brought accross free of charge by various organisations including Bowex, Universal, the Bretonian Merchant Navy, and the Liberty Logistical Corps.

Greetings, Admiral Hale,
1) The logs are being collected as we speak (mind you, it'll probably be some time until I get them);
2) Tell that to the people we found scavenging dustbins in the alleys of Leeds and New London without a rag on their backs. They sure loved how they got out of the place.
Sincerely,
Jonathan Cook

Hale here.
Pray tell, Mr. Cook... How are the social issues of Bretonia are the fault of the Liberty Navy? The fact I would bring into question the validity and truth of your statement regarding "the people we found scavenging dustbins in the alleys of Leeds" is a little less than relevant to the fact that is has absolutely nothing to do with the actions of the organisation I command, nor the government and people I serve.
Furthermore, two standard days have now elapsed since you informed me that the Navy is going to assault your base, and I have yet to receive a single shred of evidence on the matter. This implies to me that your accusation was a somewhat empty one, unless you would like to provide the communication logs to me. You have as yet failed to do so, despite having had two days to get yourselves organised.
The base we destroyed was one belonging to a group who have been attacking Liberty core space with Outcast cruisers and battleships. Does this mean we wish to waste thousands of man-hours and fuel in removing every station in the system? No. Your station is not one which is legally allowed to exist, however, we have better things to do. Instead we will leave your station standing, and you will be directed to a mechanism by which you can gain authorization for your station.
However, should that station be used to house, shelter or otherwise support the enemies of the Republic of Liberty, the consequences are rather clear. In short, we've no interest in blowing up Keys Axial, unless you have an interest in forcing our hand. We will be watching.
Oh, please do deliver that communications log... I'm starting to doubt if it exists at all.

Greetings, Admiral Hale,
I am so glad that our talks have been so productive. Thank you for publicly admitting that you do not wish to attack us, as well as revealing you managed to let a group of Outcast raiders set up an entire base (complete with shield, if my scouts tell the truth) right next to Virginia, in a system you claim ownership of.
I'll be sure to report back the next time a Navy Battle Cruiser decides to open fire on our station.
Until then, have a very nice day.
Signed,
Jonathan Cook

I haven't.
I coule happily present the one log we managed to get out of the ship present. Then again, it barely shows anything over a nearby LSF officer yelling his lungs out.
Either way, you could simply dismiss the communication as misleading, and frankly it's the word of Admiral Hale against some random guy with a tie.
Your choice.
