Hale here.
Now, how about I ask you a few more questions, which may be a little more revealing as to your way of thinking...
- Do you believe the Kansas system to be a part of Liberty?
- Why do you think we might have no interest in attacking you?
- Do you believe we would act on something such as your station, until it became of consequence to national security?
I have now asked three times for the log pertaining to a Liberty Navy officer threatening the safety of your (illegal) station. So far you have said "Yeah! Well, we'll give you the log!" twice, and I have yet to see hide or hair of it. This is getting beyond the realms of abject stupidity now, and is heading towards looking like it simply doesn't exist.

1) Last I checked, Liberty charter classified Kansas as part of Liberty.
2) Because an unlicensed base might be considered an offense to Liberty law.
3) Because we've had a LABC shoot at our base, TWICE. And I'm really, REALLY trying to believe that's just a case of insubordination and not official aggression, I really am.
The man sighs.
I beg pardon for this... there's a lot of people here, and many of us are worried about the recent destruction of the other base in the system.
Between pirates and terrorists and people trying to rob us on a daily basis, I'm afraid I might have misdirected my hostility.
That's the only thing we got out. The LSF arrived afterwards to chase down the one who recorded these logs, and the cruiser left our scanner ranges. I have no idea what's going on, but this station isn't sanctioned by official institutions and I fear we're in a precarious situation here.
I'd ask of you. What would YOU have us do in this position?
Signed,
Jonathan Cook

It might be wise to switch to a more private form of communication.
I can understand that in your position you would want to remain neutral to as many parties in the reion as possible. I know the Hellfire Legion are operating in the area, and I would advise against you getting involved in hostilities with them.
I will talk to the LSF regarding the incident above and see what their take on the matter is. Glad you started to see reason.
