I come before you today with concerns and a small bit of trepidation.
Long have we in the IND believed that we were more than honored guests
to the people of the Corsair nation. We have built our relationship
from mere visitors to people that the Council could count on when
supplies were needed.
But now..We find that one of our bases has been destroyed by a large
armada of ships, most showing the callsigns of the ECG. This base,
while the name was a little misleading, was clearly broadcast as an IND
establishment. The loss of life and commodities was staggering. There
were 650 crewman and approx. 500 million in assets aboard that station.
And not even one word of being able to evacuate the people.
It has come to make us wonder if we are even welcome on Crete anymore.
Or maybe we have differeing views on what friendship is..
In either case, a response would be appreciated.
Sincerely,

The IND is more then welcome and a respected ally.
Your organisation is a highly notable food supplier to our stations and even planet Crete.
Without your aid the last Zoner crisis would have turned out to a humanitarian disaster,
of epic proportions.
Not only the Brotherhood but all Corsairs should be grateful of your brave efforts to keep our bellies fed.
The accusations about a Corsair fleet mindlessly destroying an IND base,
are fierce and totally beyond the acceptable.
Measures should and will be taken to get to the bottom of this incident!
In order to make a swift but well thought out judgement I request some hard facts.
Next to the material damage estimated around 500 million credits,
how many life's were lost in this incident?
Do you have information about the ships that performed this siege?,
their names would be very useful.
We also request any guncam and surveillance footage of the offenders,
we don't care how you obtain it.
Furthermore we need all eye witness reports that you have possession of.
Lastly the location of the incident is of great interest of us.
Thank you for such a prompt response. At this very moment I am working on retrieving the gun cam pictures. As I was not onsite at the time of destruction. I was told that several of the ships carried an ECG type of IFF. This I will be able to confirm when the gun-cam pictures become available.
We had lost approx. 623 IND station employees during the siege. From the knowledge I have regarding the station, there were no foreignors aboard the station.
As for the stations location. I do know you will find it of interest. I will not apologize for that fact. It was hidden in the vast reaches of Omega 52. We had it named appropriately to not interfere with the local population. But , I can attest that it was wholly owned by the IND.
What you may find amusing however, is that the base was destined to be dismantled and it's components sold on the open market. It's location as an IND supply base turned out to be not very lucrative with it being 100km off the beaten path away.
As soon as I aquire the photos, you have my word that you will see them in their entirety.
Sincerely,

I do not know if I find the loss of innocent lives amusing as you presume.
At the other hand it will not affect my sleeping pattern.
It seems to me that the ECG mistook your base for a Coalition structure.
If you give me any sort of proof of this incident I will ask the ECG to clarify what happened.
If not, it is non of my concern.
The case of you building a base within Coalition territory makes me wonder....
I do hope you come forward with some more data,
since we all know the story about the boy who cried wolf.
