Admiral Henn, reporting Gallic rear raiding.
We executed patrol today with more significant numbers, as last raids were relatively unnoposed, we hoped take the opportunity to deal some heavy damage on Gallic forces on Leeds.
Unfortunately, seems we get there while Gallic forces were preparing to engage some nearby Bretonian ships, where we expected nothing more than few fighters and gunboats patrolling, we meet an entire Gallic Battlegroup.
The fight was brutal, after various ships been disabled (me and my crew personally cant attest one Gallic battlecruiser and one "Valor" disabled on Gallics side, and at least 2 of our carriers and 2 cruisers struggled to leave site of engagement heavily damaged) Cruiser under my command was focused by 3 Gallic Battleships, and ive been forced order crew to engage cloak device and retreat, so we can maintain our position in Gallics rear areas.
We would need more complete repairs on our Shipyard, but Minotaur still is combat efficient, and we will keep position and do repairs on space.
A joint task force consisting of severals destroyers from the 343rd IKN, the HMS-Victory and Crayterian forces consisting of some carriers, a cruiser and a small squadron of bombers today were able to destroy almost 6 Gallic battleships and their fighter escorts from their secondary fleets, MRG, AG and the RNFL. Unfortunately for them, their forces consisting primarily of battleships and we were able to destroy their only battlecruiser support, the RNS Duelist before the battle began in a one on one battle between one of our cruisers and the duelist. Furthermore, they had a repair ship nearby but due to poor communication on their part, it wasn't able to offer much help. Moreover, our forces consisted of a highly nimble Kusari Destroyer squadron and bomber squadron and as a result, although we lost a quite of a few of our carriers and cruisers, we were able to completely destroy the enemy forces. They started with 4 battleships with 2 more reinforcing them, but none of their forces were able to retreat. Respectfully, they and their crew fought until the end.
Report Begins:
Earlier this evening, I received a signal from the Liberty Navy requesting reinforcements in the Magellan System following the detection of a sizable Gallic fleet in the area. Within 5 minutes I arrived in the system and discovered the Navy already engaging said Gallic fleet. Moving in I began by offering repeated mortar fire against a Gallic Valor class battleship, shortly after an Obstinate class Battle cruiser uncloaked and began harassing me, forcing me away from the primary battle. Distracted by the Obstinate I was not aware of the Valor sneaking up my backside. By the time I realized it was too late, the Valor laid salvo upon salvo into my hull ripping my cruiser apart, at which time I was forced to flee once again, to limp home and seek repairs at Sabah. It was only after I had to leave that I learned that another Crayter vessel, The Minotaur, arrived to assist the Liberty forces, I do hope to see that report to find out if we managed to push the Galls back. Also, I should note of a Freelancer that sided with the Gallic forces after the Navy refused to pay a mercenary, if memory serves it was Shadows.Guardian in a Border Worlds Montante class gunship.
Combined Battle Group:
=CR=Rogue - Cmdr Marquiss vessel
=CR=FV-Minotaur - Adm Henn's ship An estimated seven (7) Liberty Navy vessels, I witnessed at least two (2) Bombers, one (1) Cruiser and one (1) Battle cruiser. Known vessel names are as follows:
[LN]-LNS-Integrity
[LN]-Silver|ESRD
[LN]-Daniel.Redding
[LN]-ESRD|Seagull
[LN]-LNS-Ignition
Cmdr's Notes:
Considering I have been on an extended, and unwelcome, hiatus for a little over six months, it is good to see that society has not given up the fight against these ruthless invaders. Gallia may have pushed into Magellan while I was away but the fight is still very much alive, it inspires me to continue trying to be the best Commander I can, though I still have so much to learn. Another thing that is most unwelcome is being beaten down in every fight I end up in, constantly having to limp home in a broken cruiser.. One day I will not have a need to retreat and I will be the one sending the Galls home in a broken ship and with a little bit of luck their spirits as well. Until then..
Admiral Henn, reporting Gallic rear raiding.
Today the Strike group under my command engaged Gallic forces on Leeds, Maggelan, and then Leeds again.
On first engagement in Leeds, result was debatable, but we had more ships out of action, while i was repositioning Minotaur to make a surprise in gallics rear, received a comm from a Crayterian trader informing had spotted in Maggelan various capital class ships, from Liberty and Gallic. I requested our comms officer inquire nearby BAF patrols, who reported indeed several capital ships in Magelan, so Minotaur advanced to there, at 110% drives capacity.
Fearing we could get there too late, i had a good surpriise, we have arrived just in time to a Valor being disabled, last gallic ship soon followed it, leaving a squad of bombers covering their retreat.
After Liberty ships cleared that sytem, ive returned to Leeds to harass Gallics supply lines, during attack on a couple of escorted transports, i have encoutered some more Gallics, one was put out of action, last one decided retreat. Here follow some guncam:

Let's see the next. Proof
Earlier today, I received word that the Galls were launching a raid on New London so naturally I went to aid our allies. While gathering at Southampton Shipyard we sighted several ships that were not the Galls, including a Nomad, Gaian and two (2) Corsairs. The Nomad began firing on a Liberty Navy pilot just before the Galls arrived in force with an estimated seven (7) bombers and began attacking the Liberty Navy Carrier [LN]-Kiel. The BAF gathered in force with several battleships and a carrier before retreating to bring in more strikecraft to deal with the bombers. The Liberty Navy Carrier, [LN]-Kiel, was brought down after a long haul of trying to fend off the Gallics, at which time the Galls turned their attention to the BAF Carrier, Avalon. During the fight that was slowly moving from Southampton over to Kensington, I snapped two (2) guncam stills of the full battle for visual confirmation. During the fight a second nomad arrived as well as 2-4 Bounty Hunters. Will the tide slowly turning in our favor we downed 2-3 of the Gallic bombers after they dropped one of the Nomads. Unfortunately the BAF Carrier, Avalon was also brought to heel nearing the end of the confrontation. With the Galls retreating into Leeds I returned to Sabah to refit some Solaris guns to my ship as I found a serious need for them if the Galls are going to continue launching bomber raids.

While patrolling Coronado after my a bit longer than expected vacation, I came across those new security enforcers around Barrier Gate Station.
Since they haven't notified The Government nor have taken any stance towards or against us, I decided to investigate a bit and ask them a few questions.
Capricornus came along and we tried to get as many informations out of them as possible.
Not much to do on that front I'm afraid... they are stiff as my neck after sleeping in my Nyx...
However, they have stated many times that the security of the station is priority number one to them and any hostilities towards them, the station or any hostilities between two parties that could endanger the well-being of the residents, will be ended by them.
Now the question is, who will they point their guns at if that happens?
Anyways, I think it might be worthwhile to keep an eye on them.
I wasn't sure whether or not to send this here or not but as I seek armament advice, I figured, why not.
I would like to introduce to you my latest investment for the Republic, a medical cruiser, =CR=Nightingale
She's still in space dock getting outfitted for medical use so while she's commissioned, she's not yet ready for service. So here's my question as I'm not a military person for say.
For defensive armament, what is recommended? It's not intended as an offensive weapon but with the many enemies we have, well, she should be ready.
I will also need stores of pharmaceuticals and a good many other supplies to outfit it.
Allow me to introduce myself , I am Dell Atreides , Chief Engineer of CDI, the same company that is building your ship. At the moment we are retrofitting your cruiser to the medical specifications that you requested and as for the equipment depends, most of the commanders are using a mixture of long range weapons and short distance such as 2 Cerberus turrets, 3 Pulse Cannons, 2 Light Mortars and the rest to be filled with Secondary Turrets.
As for the supplies, please make a list and I will dispatch Ares Logistics ships to collect,
