My name is Mark Shieldson and I am the Head of Logistics and Construction
for the Obsidian Zoetic, a group of independent Zoners based
in Omicron Zeta.
My people regularly use our Jump Technology to jump to Okinawa
in order to trade goods with Kusari and have yet to have and
problems with either of your people.
The reason for this communication is to ask for clarification
about the area within Honshu around Aomori Station.
According to the station Info Card the area around this
station is territory of the GMG.
Attached Data:
Quote:Originally, Aomori was the main point of contact between Samura and the GMG, but after their "special relationship" broke down and the GMG joined forces with Kishiro, virtually all of Samura's administrative staff have left the station. The GMG considers Aomori Station and the surrounding area, including the jump gate, to be their sovereign territory, and this is fully recognised by the Kusari government.
With this in mind we would like to ask if you could
come to some agreement if one of our Capital Vessels
the OZ:HQ-Atlas would be allowed to Jump to the station.
We would stay within the GMG's space around the base and
would not venture any further into Honshu at any time
or for any reason.
We also would not jump any known unlawful's into Honshu
or give the coordinates away to any groups that are hostile
to either of your people.
I hope that this request does not cause offence to either
of your people.
Mister Shieldson , though we have yet to speak to the Gas Miners Guild regarding your capital ship we will be recommending against allowing jump access directly to Aomori.
We are opposed to any unregistered Jumps into Honshu as outlined by the law.
There is no certainty that your convoy would not contain enemies of the republic and your ship itself poses a threat. We know from experience that some Zoners will deal with anyone, some are even violently dangerous.
I am sure you understand our reservations.
May your ancestors smile upon you,
[color=#FFFFFF]Bakuryō-chō taru Kaishō Takahashi,
Kusari Naval Forces.
Whilst I understand you reservations you are
completely disregarding that this space, by
your own admission, is the territory of the GMG.
I did not ask to be vetoed by your government,
I asked if the two of your people could decide
whether or not GMG laws apply in GMG space within
Honshu, and thus our people would be allowed to jump
to this space as the GMG have no issues with our people.

Konnichiwa Shieldson-san!
While we normally allow our Zoner friends and allies to enter our space with ships that the House governments consider to be foreign capital warships, one cannot overlook the overlapping of territory as is the case with the Aomori area in Honshu.
I can't recommend that you use Aomori as a Jump beacon, at least not until we've made arrangements with the Kusari Republic.
You're welcome to use any other of our stations as a Jump beacon, however. I've also taken the time to allow your ships docking access on Fuxyueru in Okinawa, one of my employes told me that you wanted a piece of the delicious Helium-3 cake that we bake there.
*Spoken like a true Zoner attempting to mimic out of politeness,
he bows his head attempting to show his respect.*
I thank you for your reply.
Our people will ofcourse will not jump into
Honshu space without first assuring
it will not cause friction between our people.
However, if discussion about the possibility
of jumping to Aomori is possible we would
be more than greatful.

Shieldson-san,
Guild Master Katsuo-sama is a busy man indeed, but he wishes me to tell you that the situation remains unchanged. You are recommended to jump into Okinawa or Sigma-19 directly, instead of using Aomori as the anchor of your jumps. We will contact you again if the current state of affairs reflect any changes that would allow it.
