COMM ID: Leon Chavalier. TARGET: Alice DeFrance - Normandie. SUBJECT: The hornet's nest. ENCRYPTION: EYES ONLY
Leon flicks on the comms camera in the cockpit of his Lynx. He looks tired.
Alice...Imaybeinneedofan extraction team.
Given a rather interesting turn of events in Gallia, I found myself in need of making an exit. However prior to doing so, I felt that giving certain elements of Gallia a sharp poke in the eye may be wise.
It was something of a gamble and I am unsure if it will pay off. I could have simply walked away, however, where's the gain in that? Instead I sent a message on a public broadcast channel, using my Marechal's public address privileges. I will send you a recording...
As you can tell, this has provoked something of a reaction. Rather than simply stirring up the hornet's nest, I instead accidentally speared it and then set it aflame. The result of this is... Interesting.
I am currently in Leeds, my position as yet unknown by the Navy, however it is only a matter of time before I am found. I expect the exits to the system are being watched. I may be able to punch through and reach Magellan, however that will only serve to further enrage Xavier, and I believe I would have trouble making the run to Liberty's border if pursued.
Contacting the Bretonians is not an option as I am still running a Royal Navy comms signature on this vessel. They are just as likely to shoot me down as our own wonderful countrymen.
However, if an extraction team were to meet me in Magellan at the Leeds jumphole, the task would be made somewhat easier.
I have a few days food and water aboard my Lynx at present. Contact me as soon as possible.
If an extraction team is not available, I will find alternative means.
