His smile returned wide and proud. "You just make sure you do." he laughed. "That reminds me..." He scooted out of the booth. "hang tight" with that he promptly jogged off out of the bar and made his way into the stations hall vanishing for a short while only to reappear and head back to the booth. He smiled "Happy Birthday... well belated. I sent you some credits over the net, it should be enough to buy an upgrade to your ship. I intend to do the same myself. Its about time we got out of our antiquated machines yeah?"
With that he passed a credit chit over the table side scanners to pay for the drinks. "my bird is fixed as well, follow me to freeport 9 and we can discuss more there." Malious seemed to be moving with an almost boy like glee, and it was true he was beyond happy at this moment. Off he went to the docking bay and into his Hawk, minutes later getting clearance to launch.
Suria swore up and down that he was about to start skipping. Her cup came up to her face and snapped her out of the image, and she realized she still have half the cup left. Chugging the rest, she got up and attempted to follow him to the bay. "Where did you get that much?!" Especially for the both of them, he was talking a couple million credits. "Was there something else you were doing in that prison that you're not telling me?"
She jumped hastily into her cockpit and removed her mother's earrings before sliding her helmet over her head. Getting a new ship would be lovely, and might boost their chances of landing better, albeit more difficult jobs. If they were heading to Freeport 9, their choices would be the Eagle or the Roc, but Suria sincerely doubted the later. No matter what Malious might have done while he was gone to rack up credits, it could not have been enough for both of them to acquire a Roc. But hey, a girl could dream.
