    Areas of Interest

    Nebulae

    Grasmere Ice Cloud

A thick cloud of small ice asteroids. The refractive nature of the cloud tends to confuse most scanners, providing excellent cover for Corsairs who launch raids across the Cambridge Line.

    Keswick Ice Cloud

A thick cloud of small ice asteroids. The refractive nature of the cloud tends to confuse most scanners, providing excellent cover for Corsairs who often launch attacks on the Trade Lane to the Omega-3 Jump Gate.

    Asteroid Fields

    Cardiff Asteroid Field

A medium-sized asteroid field notable for its large deposits of Beryllium. A branch of the Independent Mining Guild (IMG) based on the Cardiff Mining Facility had been working the field with lucrative results, despite occasional raids by Corsairs who have managed to circumvent the Cambridge Line, until the station was seized by Bretonian authorities following the IMG's declaration of hostilities over Aland Shipyard. BMM is currently in the process of restarting mining operations within the field.

    Newcastle Asteroid Field

A large rock asteroid field, used as cover by particularly bold Corsairs to attack traffic to and from the New London Gate. It contains no minerals of economic value.

    Peterborough Asteroid Field

The Peterborough Asteroid field is a sister to the northern Cardiff Asteroid Field. BMM prospectors found substantial traces of Beryllium, which led to the commisioning of an additional mining facility nearby. Frequent Molly activity disturbs both BMM operations and outgoing Bowex shipments.

    Wrecks

    Brock - G-5

The wreck of a Bretonian elite fighter that never returned from a reconnaissance mission.

    Contains:

    Henry Jones - F-6/5

The wreck of the Henry Jones armored transport, a Bowex ship that was hijacked by Corsairs. It was transporting a shipment of Gold to Rheinland.

    Contains:

    Caraz - E-7

The Corsair ship Caraz, intercepted and pursued by an Armed Forces patrol deep into the asteroid field. It had Artifacts in the cargo hold.

    Contains:

    Jump Gates/Holes

    Target System Type Location
    New London Jump Gate B/A-3
    Omega-3 Jump Gate G/H-4
    New London Jump Hole C-2/3
    Omega-3 Jump Hole F/E-2/3
    Omega-5 Jump Hole F-6
