Weapon Codename: STORMBREAKER
A prototype weapon system based around black market hardware that is seemingly of Rheinland origin. This Tachyon cannon features a series of modifications which allow it to bypass the energy limitations imposed for safety reasons, such as a reinforced power supply system and a more resilient frame and barrel to withstand the increased heat levels.
There is every likelihood that the "souped-up" nature of the design could result in overheating and damage if fired without proper trigger discipline, something that would suggest some amount of restraint inherent in the user, but also the fact that risks could be taken in extreme situations.
