Nebulae

Mariana Trench Nebula

A large cloud covering the western edge of the Omicron Nu system. Initial attempts to navigate and explore the nebula quickly revealed just how dangerous the Omicrons can truly be. The Mariana Trench Nebula contains large explosive gas pockets, significantly slowing down any surveys.

Asteroid Fields

Bikini Debris Field

Early geological surveys show remarkable heterogeneity in the debris, with a small but significant fraction exhibiting an uncommon, squamous spongey deposition of sulfur deposits that have, up until now, only been seen in Texas - while no other surveyed samples show anything remotely similar.

A significant part of the debris consists of wreckage of derelict Libertarian technology of approximately 300 years old. Preliminary research indicates a possibility of a link to the infamous Dallas incident. Further research attempts are stalled by ships regularly going missing in the field due to unknown reasons.
