Named for the demonic Yokai of legend, a terror of ancient seas known to capsize the vessels of those who dare approach it, is a fitting guardian for the borders of Kusari. Commissioned to Samura Heavy Industries in 813 AS by the Naval Forces to meet the needs of the ongoing war in within the dense asteroid fields of the Taus, the Omibozu is the product of lessons learned by the experience of a hundred battles to deliver the fist of the Emperor on any and all fields.
In 817 AS the Umibozu phased out the reliable but increasingly obsolete Kishiro Catamaran, confirming once more Samura as the contractor of choice in building military craft for the Naval Forces.
