With their old designs rendered obsolete, Lane Hackers became dependant on Outcast technology and desperately needed their own space superiority fighter. The answer was the Vindicator. Based on a stolen LSF prototype, the ship was in development for over four years in collaboration with the Outcasts.
Lane Hacker experience gained from the development of the legendary Bayonet married to Outcast ingenuity contained in the fearsome Rapier designs gave birth to an extremely dangerous mix of superior agility, stealth capabilities and electronic warfare prowess. This perfect match for Lane Hackers favors hit and run tactics over direct confrontation, and comes with only one known defect: excessive production and maintenance costs, though these are met by Hacker financial resources.
