Bounty Hunters are nothing if not an innovative and adaptable people. While Kusari's glut of clashing rogue ideologies and proximity to the contested Sigma systems would make it highly appealing to the Trans-Sirian Guild; the Kusari leadership - Imperial or Republican - has flatly refused the involvement of these mercenaries.
When the Gas Miners Guild converged most of their Sigma-59 operations into Niigata, they left behind remnants and derelicts. Sensing an opportunity and acting rapidly, the BHG was granted clearance to operate in the immediate, neighboring territory, and a void was filled in the Hunters' ports of call since the destruction of Freeport 7.
This place also serves as a vibrant cantina for grizzled hunters, adventurous GMG employees, and hard-drinking Freelancers. While the Core attempted to negotiate with the station administrators to expand upon the size and capabilities of the chassis, a stationwide referendum returned overwhelmingly negative to the notion. These representatives have stubbornly remained, along with a garrison and an entire deck legally owned by the paramilitary.
